This was my first time visiting one of these. I didn't really know what it was initially. It's a fried chicken quick service restaurant that started as an ice cream shop. The place was clean and had plenty of friendly staff. Both are rare these days in quick service restaurants. They only serve dark meat, which lucky for me, which is what I prefer. The pieces were large and very crispy. It was served quickly and hot. Great to have a friendly face take my order as opposed to having to do it myself at a kiosk. The only issue worth mentioning was that the restroom needed attention at the time.

We recently made a stop at Jollibee in Jacksonville, Florida. Still masarap, but honestly, not as masarap as I remember it to be. Maybe it’s just me romanticizing the flavor from before, or maybe something’s changed—seasoning, portion, or prep. Either way, it still hit that nostalgic note, just not as hard as I hoped.

Why does anyone like this place? The food was awful! To the point we threw out $150 worth of food. The mashed potatoes taste like your standard KFC potatoes. The chicken is crispy but not good and several of our pieces were undercooked. The spaghetti tasted like a garden salad and not good at all. The only thing good was the pies.

Jollibee is always delicious! I love going with my husband and getting the palabok, the peach mango pies, and the chicken joy. It's our road-trip go-to

I'm from a state that doesn't have a Jollibee anywhere. I was excited when I traveled to Jacksonville and saw one there because I've always wanted to try it after seeing the videos online. I was so underwhelmed with the food. First, it was expensive. I paid $17 for a leg, side of spaghetti, and a peach mango pie. The chicken was not flavorful, and the spaghetti tasted like someone dumped sugar in the sauce. I'm not a fan of sweet spaghetti sauce, so I wasn't able to finish it. Wasn't a fan of the hotdogs in the spaghetti either. It was a one and done experience for me.

I typically refrain from voicing my concerns, but today I feel compelled to do so. As a Filipino who enjoys dining at Jollibee, I had a particularly disappointing experience with a staff member who appeared to be either a supervisor or a manager. He was dressed in gray, possessed black hair, and was of average height. His name was John Gray.

During my visit, I attempted to pay with a $100 bill for an order totaling approximately $26. The staff member assisting me informed me that they did not have any change available and communicated this to John. Rather than providing assistance, he suggested that I go to Walmart to obtain change for my bill. This response was surprising and disheartening, especially considering that the staff member assisting me also expressed astonishment at his reaction. In my view, he exemplified unprofessional conduct in his role as a supervisor or manager at Jollibee.

Nothing really special. In my opinion, the ones in the Philippines are better. Parking is terrible at this location. Best to park nearby and just walk over.

I was excited to try Jollibee after all the hype, but my experience left me more concerned than satisfied. While the food itself was decent, the overall cleanliness and condition of the restaurant were extremely disappointing.

First, the building itself is in rough shape. The exterior wood paneling is already deteriorating from rot, making it look run-down. Inside, the restaurant is way too small for the number of people it serves, leading to a cramped and uncomfortable dining experience. Worse, the place felt unclean—mold, dirt, and questionable hygiene standards were noticeable throughout.

What really worried me was the food handling. The employees seemed overworked and understaffed, and there was little sense of pride in their work. Given the lack of attention to cleanliness in the restaurant itself, I couldn’t help but question the hygiene standards in the kitchen. I left feeling uneasy, even worried about getting sick from eating here.

Overall, this Jollibee location either isn’t living up to the brand’s reputation, or the company has seriously let its standards slip. If they don’t improve cleanliness and maintenance soon, they risk losing customers who value a hygienic dining experience. Definitely not worth the hype in its current state.

Food was really messy and I used like 30 napkins not even kidding.

Parking: This place is way too small for the amount of people going here
