Beware if you order online. Placed the order, got to the store and their internet was down. Half of their menu wasn’t available (no steak subs, no fries). Asked them to cancel it. They claimed they have no way to refund. Came back a few days later after the charge actually posted. Asked for a refund. Said they couldn’t refund third party payments. No idea what that means; the CC charge says “Jon Smith Subs” with their contact info. Told me to come back when the GM was there.

Abismal service and experience. Won’t be going back again. Shame. Food looks good.

Had to go through CC company to dispute charge.

The staff is super nice and they have a good menu. The food is on the blander end but the fries are absolutely amazing!

I’m basing this review off the classic sub with chicken. This was probably the worst sub of my life ngl I was gonna donate it to a homeless person after the first bite but I was afraid they’d get indigestion and that’s no fun. Also it cost me $15 to feel icky and I could’ve done that for free.

I did not enjoy the sandwich at all, the fries were good at least. Had to add mayo to eat the sandwich.
One of the people working there talking to her co-worker was swearing, so maybe not a good place to bring kids.

Food was awesome, the lady working was super sweet, the gentleman was loud, hostile and bossy toward the young lady working. The gentleman was using his phone in front of customers for the full extent of my visit whilst the young lady made sandwiches and cleaned. I asked for a manager and was informed that the man was in charge, I will hold my complaints for next time when a real leader is present.

First-time visit and definitely not my last!
I stopped by John J.O.N. Smith’s Subs today for the first time and had a steak sub—and WOW. The bread was incredibly soft and flavorful, the steak and veggies were fresh, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right. I added mayo to make it just the way I like it, which is easy to do since they give you control over your sauces.

What really stood out, besides the delicious food, was the service. The staff were fast, polite, and genuinely went above and beyond. The person making the sandwiches even came out to personally hand me my order—super thoughtful touch you don’t see often these days.

I had a 6-inch sub and thought it wouldn’t be enough… turns out it was more than satisfying. I almost ordered a 12-inch and I’m glad I didn’t—it was that filling. For the price I paid, the value was absolutely worth it. I’d choose this place over the big chain sub shops any day. They also have some outdoor seating to really enjoy the FL day as you have a meal.

Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!

I decided to stop in today because have not had a cheeseburger sub in a while. The two young ladies in their greeting me and were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, I waited till the last minute to ask for extra mayonnaise on my sub, but they were nice enough to do their best to add some on it. I will definitely come back more often.

Food is great. Service is strange. Have menu items they don’t offer and store hours say 7 but have had a few times tried to call at 5 and they are closed already.

Bland. I really wanted to love this place, I just can’t ignore how dry & bland my steak sub was. The bread was slightly stale and overall the experience was a let down. The place wasn’t even busy, so I wonder why the overcooked steak ( maybe microwaved). My partner got the Reuben which was also bland- and for the price, I would expect a bit more meat. At this point, firehouse subs tastes better ( and I’m not much of a fan).
The chicken bomb sub was good though. It was more flavorful & moist. Because of this I gave two stars instead of one.
I won’t be back.

Switched to self ordering kiosk. Not convenient at all, took 4 times as long to order than normal and order was not correct. Get rid of the kiosks

I visited on a Saturday for lunch after work. I ordered the steak and cheese, chips and a drink. The service was good and the staff was helpful. To be honest, I can't rate the food as I was congested at the time and couldn't really taste anything. Will update after next visit.

The service is fantastic, the store runs like a well oiled machine and the subs always taste great. Will definitely be back.
