I moved to Florida 18 years ago from the Boston area. I know good food. I gave up hope many years ago of ever finding authentic Italian food in Florida. my son and I moved to Jacksonville from Vero Beach about 2 months ago. we stopped in today for the first time and had the chicken parm. five stars. the sauce is boss! everything was fresh and authentic. remind me of being in the North End of boston.

I recently had pizza from Joseph's, and it was absolutely amazing! I ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza to go, and I loved both. I also tried the shrimp scampi, but what truly fascinated me was the history of the building itself—it’s the oldest pizza store in Jacksonville, Florida. Interestingly, I share a part of that history, as I own the building at 11th and Liberty, which was the Marita Bread Union building. Inside, there’s a beautiful mural of Marita...

I love the taste of the food there just seems to be little problems here are there. Today (sat-10) I ordered a pepperoni mozzarella roll and there were not any pepperonis. Just bread and cheese.
