Just Jerk Jamaican BBQ

***DO NOT BUY FOOD HERE*** Yeah the food is not it at all. It was very bland with no flavor. I feel like I wasted my money, because I couldn’t even finish the food, this was my first time trying out this place and it will be my last. The portion was small as well. Before I got the food I had asked the lady up front how much it would be for extra gravy and she said it typically came with a lot of gravy but it apparently didn’t. The rice was dry with just some pieces of meat. I didn’t want to believe the poor reviews as there were alot of good ones but now I’m wondering how there’s so many. Respectfully the food was nonsense. They also have a 4% customer service fee that I don’t quite understand why especially as my food was a takeout. This is not a review to bring down your business but one to inform you that your establishment needs to do better.

UPDATE TO THE RESPONSE:

One thing I HATE is lies! I NEVER had an issue with the price BEFORE ordering, I NEVER even questioned it! That is such a blatant LIE!!! I asked about the 4% fee WHILE PICKING UP MY ORDER! Which was after I noticed the amount charged did not match the price of the food and I needed clarification. Secondly I DID NOT use credit card, and she confirmed its a customer service fee. Thirdly I ASKED THE LADY while ordering “How much is extra gravy?” she said “It typically comes with a lot of gravy so I don’t need to”. Y’all are liars and this is disgusting. You can NEVER make it as a business because of your dishonesty and God don’t like ugly. Y’all will remember this review when you close down. Smh

I ordered the oxtail dinner at $29.00. Way too expensive. The food was horrible and portions were small. The associate told me it was the best around. I don't see how he came to that conclusion. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN OR RECCOMEMD this place to anyone.

A hidden gem. Every time Ive ordered from here the food is fresh, seasoned perfectly and just delicious. I’ve never had a bad experience and I’m convinced that the bad reviews are either ppl that can never be satisfied and/or possibly competing restaurants. This place is great and I would definitely recommend. The customer service is good as well.

We got stewed chicken and curry chicken. Both plates were dry, I had maybe 3 beans in my rice and beans, no gravy or sauce of any kind. Cabbage reminded me of Cole slaw.

Just moved to the area, been going all over Jacksonville, Kingsland, Brunswick, etc, looking for my favorite dish, Jerk Chicken.

So far this is the best. I like that it is not overly sauced, not overly sweet and it has much more heat, just how I like it.

The cabbage that came with could use a little bit of love. I like my cabbage to be more soft and wet.

I know imma be mad for making this review but I have to!! The patties are so good here! I stopped by one day just to try them and I been coming almost every day since to get me 2! They just sale out so fast!! The lady at the counter is super sweet Great customer service if you ask me! Please make more patties!
