Came here for dinner about an hour before close. Very friendly and quick staff. Chicken Katsu Don bowl was incredibly flavorful. $15, not bad in this economy.

Yummy but I made the error to making my bowl from scratch and next thing I know I’m walking out with a $22 bowl. They were a stingy on the toppings I’d selected but gave loads of tempura shrimp.

I’m sorry. I’ve really enjoyed this place and their other locations in the past, but today when I got my food the chicken hibachi’s rice at this location it tasted like generic white rice I could get out of my container at home. The flavor wasn’t there either in the rice or the chicken. I haven’t eaten all day before this so for me to say this about the food while hungry speaks a few volumes. I would understand if the chefs aren’t always at their best A game but I’ve frequented the smaller location at the avenues many times and never once have I ever gotten such a flavorless meal. The gyoza was nearly burnt too.

Locally owned, gave us some homemade dried datil pepper powder to go on top of the Triple Threat. Nice little touch, thanks!

I have been a regular here since I discovered there was a such thing as a sushi Burrito. Then I got introduced to Poke' bowls here . Their staff is great, plus appetizers and food are so yummy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Prices are reasonable, but I am so greedy for the goodness when I do go that I buy too much ?

The two local sushi burrito places I've been to have been quick, filling, and consistent. For whatever reason, they also always have a weird smell to them. I can deal with that though for the food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kazu Sushi Burrito in Jacksonville, where I indulged in their delicious poke bowl. Located in the heart of the city, Kazu Sushi Burrito is a trendy and modern restaurant that offers a unique fusion of Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine. As a fan of both sushi and poke bowls, I was excited to try their take on this popular dish.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by the sleek and stylish decor. The ambiance was inviting and modern, with a vibrant energy that added to the overall dining experience. The staff greeted me warmly and guided me to a table where I could peruse the menu and make my selection.
After much deliberation, I decided to order the poke bowl, a colorful and flavorful dish that combines fresh fish, vegetables, and a variety of toppings. I chose a mix of salmon and tuna as my protein, along with avocado, edamame, seaweed salad, and crispy wonton strips as my toppings. The bowl was beautifully presented, with each ingredient carefully arranged to create a visually appealing and appetizing dish.
As I took my first bite, I was immediately struck by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The fish was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the combination of textures and flavors in the bowl was truly delightful. The soy-based sauce added a savory umami flavor that tied everything together perfectly, creating a harmonious and satisfying dish.
Throughout my meal, the staff at Kazu Sushi Burrito were attentive and friendly, ensuring that I had everything I needed to enjoy my dining experience. The service was prompt and efficient, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and welcoming. I felt like a valued guest and appreciated the care and attention that went into every aspect of my meal.
In conclusion, my experience at Kazu Sushi Burrito in Jacksonville was nothing short of exceptional. The poke bowl was a delicious and satisfying dish that exceeded my expectations, and the overall dining experience was one that I will not soon forget. I left the restaurant feeling full and content, eager to return and explore more of the unique and flavorful offerings on their menu. Kazu Sushi Burrito is truly a gem in the Jacksonville dining scene, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious meal.

Good poke bowls. Not many options when it come to customizing your poke bowl though.

Before I say anything, I’ve eaten here numerous times and never had any issues. But today I got a pounding headache 10 minutes after eating raw salmon, tuna, and shrimp from this location. 30 minutes later I was covered in a red rash and went to the ER, they said it was Histamine Toxicity (fish poisoning) and not an allergic reaction. I called the location to let them know as a courtesy and instead of apologizing I was told repeatedly it was an allergic reaction. I wasn’t wanting to complain but to have a manager trying to excuse it instead of apologize was immensely unprofessional and disrespectful.

Foods great if they actually make it. They say they are short staffed with 3 people, but literally every other location is staffed by 3 people. I guess my point is that if you want to have a poke bowl, you may or may not get it here, and that depends on whether it takes 3 minutes of 40, because half the people working when I have gone are blazed out of their mind and just keep taking orders and disappearing - especially the manager/super rude bald guy. If you have 45 minutes to wait for a sushi bowl at a fast food restaurant, you should just go ahead and drive on to the beach and go to a traditional seafood restaurant, sit down, order, eat, and by driving ti the beach and going to a traditional restaurant, you will saved time versus eating at this poorly managed dumpster fire of a location.
