I placed an order for the 5 HBQ hot wings combo with fries. I asked for my wings to be dropped fresh. I was told the wings had just came so I drove to the window, paid for my food and received it. Of course the wings were not fresh and had not just came up. Plus my fries were cold. I then had to get back in the line which was wrapped. The KFC on Merrill Rd in Jacksonville Florida has been taken over by an Franchise with shouldn't make an different. There menu prices on the drive through quote one price however when you get to the window you are charge another. When I informed the worker she stated no. So I showed her the picture I took to confirm. For my trouble the worker cursed at me and when I said excuse me who do you think you are talking to, she continued to curse and walk away. KFC offers good food with fast service, despite being short-staffed at times. The manager Omar helped someone that was homeless and gave them a meal. The food was hot and fast and the lobby was clean. The atmosphere and service has done a complete 360 after replacing staff and undergoing revamping.
