We came here on the fly because my roommate said they have good breakfast food. Of course I went to Yelp first and saw that it was reported closed when really they just have a new location. Darien took our order and he was a pleasure to deal with, he loves his job and you can tell. We ordered two corn beef platters (all platters come with grits, eggs and toast), a fish platter (fried swai), two pancakes and a side of cheese grits. The grits needed butter and some salt, and I should've requested my eggs cooked medium because they were too cooked for my liking BUT my fish was bangin'! I wouldn't go back for breakfast but I'd show up and wait in line for their fried fish(.)

It's mediocre at best. Staff doesn't really engage with you the food is your everyday what you can make at home. They don't take the time out to recognize who is a reoccurring customer you can literally come in there Saturday Sunday Monday order the same thing and come in that Friday and they'll act like they never seen you before. If you forget to give them a small detail they'll do their own accord if they forget something of yours and you paid for it they will not reimburseyou nor will they compensate you for it. They don't carry drinks and it's just all in all not worth it they're very expensive everything extra is about $1.20 cheese a $1.20 everything is just horrible. This store is dirty I don't think it's up to date with codes, inspections or health department regulations the cook doesn't use gloves not proper restaurant wear it's a mess. Black owned embarrassment.
