My family celebrated my mom’s birthday at Kim’s Korean BBQ last night! The service was so, so good, and Mama Kim went out of her way to make sure we really enjoyed the experience (which we did!). The food was delicious, full of flavor, but without feeling heavy. We never felt rushed through the entire dinner, and made a memory with our mom we won’t forget!

Food is good, I think it’s overpriced IMO though. $100+ for a family of 4 and the portions weren’t impressive. Love the family atmosphere, but the price tag needs serious work before I consider going back.

First off, I'll give respect, where respect is due. This food was amazing, and the atmosphere wasn't bad at all. However!!!! The service was the worst that I've ever experienced in my life. I don't know what we did, to deserve such horrible treatment.
We was greeted at the door, by one of the owners, which was who also sat us down. After a few minutes he took or order, brought it out, and all of a sudden, was AWOL. it was us and 2 other tables in there. The other owner spent all her time at the other tables, conversing, and bringing them drinks/ refilling constantly. Meanwhile we was never visited at all. My wife had to get up every time to ask for refills, silverware, sauce, and etc. normally, I don't care if someone wants to converse with me or not. But to sit there and give attention to every table except for us, was a bit embarrassing. Like I said. The food was great, but the service was way under poor. Would give it 0 stars, if I could.

I bring friends every chance I can get because the food is so good! The food is amazing and the owners are very sweet and kind. They remember their customers. There is so many dishes to choose from that are made from scratch. Kim's is a staple of Mandarin!

I love this restaurant. Even though i am vegetarian, i find delicious dishes thwt they don't have any meat. Everyone is very nice and friendly and i will go back over and over again. Right now ,because of Covid I am limited to take outs, but even so I have wonderful experience with this place. I hope they will have business forever.

This restaurant seemed to be so well reviewed and recommended that I decided to take the family to try out this restaurant. I very infrequently write negative reviews unless it was truly a jarring experience.
Firstly, to its credit, the food is pretty good. Pretty authentic from what I can tell. The portions are fairly small for the price, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, if it were for the food, I may consider coming again.
But that’s where the positives basically stop. We have been to many Korean restaurants all over the US, so we know what service usually is provided. Our server, who was also the owner, took our order 3-4 times, and while some people might find her stern demeanor to be “home like”, I found it rather rude and she was extremely forgetful.
We were 4 people and a baby, so we ordered 3 entrees (which based on the price being 30+ assumed it would be a decent amount of food for 4 people including 2 elderly people who do not eat much to begin with. We also ordered an appetizer, which again we chose a fairly pricy appetizer. All this is to say was that we got chastised for asking for just a few more Banchan plates, and also saying that we should be glad she didn’t charge us a “sharing fee” (which on the menu is for the Budae jjigae family meal). I have never heard of a sharing fee in a regular Korean restaurant for someone sharing an entree when we ordered 4 fully priced items. The amount of Banchan given was fairly little for 3 full entrees, and we have never been nickled and dimed for Banchan by any other Korean restaurant we have ever been to. Plus, whether she was lying to us or not, many Banchan items were missing, all of which happened to be the higher cost better Banchan.
I would not come here again. If the owner was just a little bit more generous - we basically at most asked for something that would have cost them about $1 at most, they have lost what would have been reliable customers.

We had a great experience at Kim’s Korean BBQ. Mama Kim lived up to her name and took such great care of us. Her recommendations were amazing and we loved the food, Korean beer and wine too. We will definitely come again!
