Went there today and ordered the BBQ combo plate. Was served meat combo from maybe 3 days old and just a little macaroni and a couple of pieces of cabbage strands. Omg. What happened to this place. The one in Carson, California is the best…and I miss it so much. This place 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Soggy burger with flat pressed bun. Both bathrooms were out of order. I tried a second time and chicken was dry. Not coming back

Food flavors a day selection was solid. My only issue is that if you pride yourself on large portions and "aloha" atmosphere and both are not received, then it's a bit of a letdown.

This place has a chill vibe with super nice people. The food was so delicious and the Hawaiian sun made it perfect. Will be returning for more kalua pork and cabbage. But excited to try all the menu items.

I am one of the biggest fans of L&L. It is my comfort food and the taste of home. I will travel hours out of my way to visit any L&L. I was in Jax and super excited to grab my favorite plate lunch.

The Mac salad was great. The guy behind the counter was really friendly and genuinely apologetic. That’s all the good I can report.

The chicken was hard dry and inedible, lm sure it was cooked days before and barely re- heated.
The short rib was room temperature and meh.
They had no salad or cabbage.
They had no shoyu, you can’t have Hawai’ian without Aloha Shoyu.
They had no soy sauce.
They had no chop sticks.

The sincere apologies were nice, the employee said they just don’t have the supplies they need.
This sucked.
We deserve a refund.
You should lose your franchise.

Kept calling to put in a pick up order or at least ask a question before I drive there so I keep calling and it's busy. Finally get there walk in and the guy there doesn't even say nothing or notice me til I walk out. Like make your employees use there own phone and acknowledge the customer or you loose buisness

This place has went down hill went in today they were out of kailua pork so we got 2 orders of chicken katsu got to car and checked no katsu sauce went back in and the guy gave 2 little sauce for back to our room they were some kind of salad dressing and the burger from the loco moco was rare. Sizes are not the same either. Won't be back.

Pretty disappointed with the garlic chicken. It was basically a soy sauce type sauce on top with no garlic. The person who took my order was very glued to their phone and wasn’t able to scan the app for points. Women’s bathroom was out of order and the men’s didn’t have soap. Overall not impressed with this location.

We had just got into town and wanted to try something different, so we settled for L&L Hawaiian Grill. I ordered the BBQ mix plate with Mac salad (very good) and rice. We also had a side order of Lumpia, which was very good aa well. My mom ordered the chicken katsu, but by the time she ate it, the steam from the takeout had dried it out a little. My daughter had the chicken teriyaki plate, and she liked it. My grandbaby had a cheeseburger ?. Overall, it wasn't too bad at all! We would recommend this place to try it out!

We were pretty happy to try this place since we've vacationed in Hawaii before and it's been difficult to get a taste in Jacksonville. This is a small restaurant located in a plaza on Baymeadows. You can easily miss it if you aren't looking for it. There is a small dining area inside. It seems to be family owned and operated. They need to implement some sort of pest control system as there were a few flies in the dining area.

There were a few women at the counter ready to help take our order. There are pictures of some of the menu items on the video menu which is pretty helpful.

The food that we ordered was made and brought out to us pretty quickly. We tried the BBQ Mix plate, Spam Musubi, and Saimin with BBQ beef. IT was all pretty good. The BBQ mixed plate included BBQ beef, BBQ chicken, and BBQ short ribs and a side of mac salad and rice. It was a decent portion of food. I think the BBQ short ribs are the same or similar to kalbi and they were a little fattier than meaty but the flavor was good. The saimin was good. The broth is nice and light but a little salty for my taste. The Spam musubi was pretty basic but tasted on point.

Overall, it was an okay dining experience. I might order from here again but I'd probably get take out.

*sorry, I forgot to take pictures for this one
