We have been here a few times and each time they've been out of Mac Salad or something. How does a Hawaiian food place run out of Mac Salad, 15 minutes after opening? Then they have the audacity to have the thinnest slices of ribs! Like, for almost $20 you better have something more than sandwich meat. Also, VERY expensive for small portions. Buyer Beware.

Love this place! ❤️ I’ve been missing Hawaii, so seeing L&L totally made my day. To top it off the young lady at the counter had the Aloha spirit. 🌺They’ve added some Filipino dishes to the menu, which made it feel even more like island food. The lumpia was delicious, and everything else tasted just as I remembered.

I’m sorry I don’t like to put bad reviews but today I had purchased 7 meals the dessert was good but the food was bad everyone was waiting to eat. Garlic shrimp was very sticky hard to peal but the worst part his salty it was that I got sick. I threw away two meals no one ate the side either

They recently started selling Filipino food under the new name of Manila Hawaiian Grill. So they do have classic Hawaiian foods on top of the also classic Filipino dishes such as sisig, pork, chicken adobo, and pancit. Service was spectacular and gave samples to try as well. The staff were sweet and patient. Highly recommend if you want to try out a cozy meal that will make you feel satisfied and filled. Such a delicious meal to have on your own or share with friends and family.

They had no sides from us to pick from. They advertise stuff they don’t even have they only had white rice from us to pick from because they “had no other sides” the guy at the front had no idea what was going on he couldn’t help us in any way very disappointed and we won’t be back not a great experience for first timers…

Found an awesome little Filipino-Hawaiian restaurant! We had pancit, kalua pig, menudo, lumpiang shanghai (pork), and lumpiang gulay (vegetable). The food was all fresh, absolutely delicious, and healthy portioned!

The new management/owners were kind and helpful. Service was prompt, place was clean. Location lots of parking and easy to get to.

A must stop for our island cravings! Good authentic Filipino foods AAAAND Hawaiian food! Can’t beat that!

My only request is that they add Lau Lau and Halo Halo to the menu!! 🍱🍜🇵🇭🌺

Where do I even start...

Having lived in Hawaii for several years I have been craving Hawaiian mac salad. I was extremely excited to learn a few months ago that there was an L&L in Jacksonville. I live in Orlando, so that's quite the drive for food, however, I finally decided to take the trek...

I'll never make that mistake again...

After driving for 2 and 1/2 hours arriving at approximately 3:15 I'm met with a sign that they would be closed until 4:00 p.m.... They were in their cleaning which could easily be done after hours not in the middle of the day...

We got Kahlua pork and katsu chicken with four extra sides of Mac since that was my main craving Spam masubi spent over 5 hours on the road around trip and over $75 ($55 food) on food and gas only to be severely disappointed...

The Kahlua pork was somehow both dry and mushy. (Top layer dry bottom layer of soupy mushy mess) The cabbage was crunchy and undercooked. The katsu chicken was the star of the trip but still a letdown by normal L&L standards.

The Spam musubi was thin and the seaweed smelled pungent I took a bite and didn't even finish it...

Can you and then there's the max salad, the biggest letdown of all. It had no consistency or shape it was a wet soupy bland mess with a puddle of mayonnaise in the bottom of the tray. The noodles were overcooked. It tasted nothing like L&L mac salad... Spending 10 extra dollars on sides of mac salad that they couldn't even be courteous enough to discount knowing that I drove for Orlando and they were inconveniently closed during the middle of the day was quite annoying. (Sure I'm not entitled to any type of discount, however, knowing I drove from Orlando and then was inconvenienced by them being closed during normal business hours it's clear that they don't care about customer service otherwise they would have at least offered something to compensate my time)

I really wish I would have read the reviews before driving the 5hr round trip because there are a ton of reviews stating the same problems that I've discussed here.

Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

Been here a few times. Being from Hawaii i wanted food from home. They never have anything good. No pork no saimin. Now they have a list of stuff they “dont sell”. Fountain drink machine dont work. This will be the last time i come here. If you been to hawaii and enjoyed L&L. This isnt it. This is bare bones. Only have what the cooks feel like making.
