Hands down best tacos I've ever had! Quesabirrias were amazing, and the salsa bar selection was delicious. So glad we stumbled in here. This will definitely be a new favorite spot.

Just happened to have a craving for Mexican food during work one day and ended up finding this place by chance. The food deserves a lot of recognition. It was served piping hot and full of flavor. I will definitely be dining here again.

food is just ok, nothing out of the ordinary, it is very confusing and annoying that they don't list prices on the menu, you are completely at their mercy

I wouldn't describe La Michoacana as cheap, but that's because it's the best authentic Mexican on the east side. Not only was staff kind and efficient, but we also witnessed one of the waitors take action immediately at a disruptive guest. 5 star experience.

It is a very hard-working Mexican family business, who cares a lot about customer service and the quality of authentic Mexican food.

I absolutely love the food and friendly service here!! I was watching the cooks make my guacamole by hand which explains why it tastes so fresh and savory!! It’s clean and cozy here & as an added bonus I got to practice my spanish with a couple of women who made it so much fun!
Grab some friends and check out this awesome restaurant. It’s near the intersection of Beach Blvd and Southside Blvd, in the Harbor Freight plaza.

NEVER coming back here again because: 1) The Short girl with the curly hair as she was outside and coming into the restaurant gave me an attitude when I asked her if this was a restaurant as it's kind of dark from the outside so you can't tell. 2) The waitress I did get kept saying I don't know as if she didn't work there she didn't know the menu I had to ask multiple times just to get a clear answer on what food I was ordering. And I had to ask her for things twice that I should have only had to ask one time for. 3) I watched a short girl with a curly hair taking a huge bite out of a piece of cake from the back while she looked at me right in my eye. The food here was good but definitely not better than any other Mexican place I've ever been to. The service was atrocious and these people should be ashamed of themselves I'll never be back in this restaurant and I'll be sure never to recommend this restaurant to any of my clients or to any of my friends or family!

The food is fantastic, it is authentic Mexican cuisine. I had 5 tacos and street corn. I am going to be back try other menu items. I highly recommend this place the photo are the birria tacos they are worth the 30 minutes I drove to come here

Best authentic Mexican food in Jacksonville. You know it's good when you're the only white people in the restaurant! The music was a bit loud for my tism but the waitress saw my discomfort and turned it down before I could even say something.

Good food and even better people.

We were looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant and came here. Big mistake!! If you don't speak Spanish, don't come here. Everything we ordered they said no, eventhough it was on the menu. Finally we ordered 2 plates of scrambled eggs and the huevos con chorizo, with 2 waters and 1 juice. Our bill was $68!!! The waitress said sorry, that's what the owners told me to charge you.
