As a local and regular customer, I’ve always enjoyed both the service and food here. On my last visit, I ordered several meals for takeout along with a side of queso — which they forgot to include. That’s partly on me for not checking the bag before I left, but this place usually doesn’t miss.
I was disappointed when I got home but chose not to make a fuss about it. Weeks later, while placing another order for three or more meals and sides, I politely asked a manager if they could include the queso they’d missed last time. Their response? A firm “no.”
It’s disappointing that a $5 queso was worth more to them than keeping a loyal customer.

Food is amazing but service not as much once they come to the table and bring your food you have to fight to get them back.
La Nopalera has totally turned things around since COVID! Service is friendly and fast, the food is fresh and delicious, and the portions are huge for the price. Great value and a much better vibe now!
