Came here on a rainy day with my bf so he can experience the food. The owners were very welcoming and warm. We had the gored gored and vegan combo which were both SO delicious! The owners also gave us a little history about his culture which made the experience more enjoyable. Overall an amazing time and great food!

Dined in with a friend a few weeks ago and the food was delicious! The gored gored, lentils, and beets were my favorite and I enjoyed learning more about the history of the restaurant and about Ethiopia! I would recommend dining in for the full experience!

Lalibela is a fantastic spot for authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The injera was perfectly soft and tangy, and the combination platter gave us a delicious taste of everything—from flavorful lentils to tender beef tibs. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something new and unforgettable!

We had an incredible experience at this Ethiopian restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing. We tried the Gored Gored and Gomen Ba Sega, and both dishes were delicious in their own unique way. The Gored Gored was perfectly seasoned and tender, while the Gomen Ba Sega was savory, and stood out. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore authentic Ethiopian cuisine!

Terrible experience here, the elder man had no sense of customer service and it shows by the amount of people who don’t dine in. He also felt the need to call me out of my name and say that I’m not his kind. All i can say is karma is real and this restaurant probably won’t be here another month. Do better sir your community would appreciate that.

Popped in for lunch and had an amazing time! Everyone was very sweet and the food was delicious, one of the owners (i assume) came over and chatted with the table after we finished telling us more about the restaurant and ethiopian culture. I especially recommend the doro wat, lentils and collards the most as they were amazing and gored gored and vegetarian combo are also great!

This place is wonderful. My family took me here for my birthday because they know how much I love Ethiopian food. They’d never had it before but left amazed at how delicious everything was. The people who run it are just as amazing too! They take the time to chat with you and discuss the history and culture of Ethiopia. I highly recommend for anyone who loves Ethiopian food or those looking to try something new.

Where to start? When your first enter the restaurant you are greeted with notes of spices that are warm and inviting. You are seated then given a menu. The choices are explained. Any questions that need to be answered are explained. Then when the food is presented you are in amazement of where to start. Just start, you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed it! Appreciated that we could see the kitchen. It seemed like a family run restaurant. The owners are very forthright no nonsense. We had the vegetarian combo (six different veggie dishes, a beet dish, a potato carrot dish, a collard green dish, an orange and yellow lentil, and a cabbage dish), then we ordered a meat dish (Gomen Ba Sega) which they put in the middle of our tray. (Served on the injera ) Platter. Everything was delicious! A wonderful combination of spices even our two year old loved it all. After we had the Ethiopian style coffee (Buna Be Jebena). Which was very good. We definitely plan to come back.
