Larry's Giant Subs

I eat at this Larry's all the time and the manager Cheryl and staff always treat me great.

This Larry's must be having a staffing problem. Every time I stop by, something is wrong - the bread, no pickle. Yesterday, I asked what soups they had. Woman didn't know and obviously was not going to find out; wrong bread, no pickle.

Larry's Giant subs has the only the meatball sub my grandchildren will eat😅 i love that I can order online, and just drive through to pick it up. Be careful because it's a very popular spot in the parking is super tight.

Very disappointed to find out that the hours of operation are really only until 7:30pm for eat in. I pulled into the parking lot at exactly 7;30pm to find chairs on tables. I entered about ten minutes later with my wife thinking maybe they just had chairs up to mop. We ordered our food and turned to sit down and ALL the chairs were up. Since the floor was obviously drying we set down two chairs at a table in a dry area and we're promptly told the dining room was closed. Not a good look. As a former restaurant manager for almost 2 decades I would never let my employees close my dining room before the store closes. A very unwelcome feeling to have to then go sit in our car and eat dinner. Given this experience I think we may have to look elsewhere next time we want sandwiches.

Don't do it. Drive farther and go to the location on Edgewood. I was lazy and tried this location. My turkey sub was crap. It was built like crap, light lettuce, and had a funky flavor. The turkey looks funky too. SUPER disappointed especially for the price. I can justify the price at the Edgewood location but not here.

Ordered a cornbeef and pastrami and barely meat but a lot of sauerkaut and it was supposed to be a large sandwich

The workers were exceptionally welcoming. The steak sandwich was pretty good.

The sub sandwiches are pretty tasty.
Today I ordered the non-Chicago hotdog. I requested a little relish and Dijon mustard.
Opening the wrapped hotdog it was PACKED with ground pickle relish. I couldn’t see the hotdog. The hotdog bun was soaking wet!
VERY disappointed. The preparer needs to be
trained. It has made me negative in returning.

Wanted to try this place with the family, however, today, 10/12 at just before 7PM, lobby doors are locked and all chairs up on tables.

Definitely need the hours updated to reflect- never been to Larry’s, so would have been a first.

Staff was nice

Rude cashier. Bad attitude and expected us to tip. Ruined experience as soon as we walked in. Stared at us the whole time. We quickly ate and got outta there. Would’ve ordered it to go but we already paid and didn’t want anymore contact with her. Don’t go to this location. I’m never eating there again.

We never had a bad experience at any of the Larry's Giant Subs in Jacksonville, FL until today at this location. We walked in and the woman working the counter was rude and was in a bad mood. Ordered us to come to her register and when asked what we wanted her tone was like she was in a rush and were inconveniecing her. We left immediately with the vibe she was giving. We will never go back to this location again.

This is my 10th visit and every 10 visited they can’t even follow my one simple order. I asked for Cuban sub but NO PICKLES! And they always have pickles include, I had to wait other 15 minutes to get my food fixed and my kids foods get cold while waited for me to get my food ready so we can eat togs as family time. I would go other Larry giant sub location but it’s out of my way to errands so I’m not happy with this place and I gave this place 10 chances and I never happy with it every time I come by so DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!
