Lewey's Seafood & Wings #2

Okay, we tried several things from this truck for our 1st visit. The shrimp, fries and chicken tenders were good. The gizzards I would rate -1. They were super hard and chewy. As in we couldn't eat them, too tough. But the guy was decent, the place had seating, music and other food/ truck selections. It would be great if they had ice too.

Parking: Plenty of parking. If you dont get blocked in. Also, if you don't drive well, the small gate opening might be an issue for you.

The fries were cold and slimmy. The wings were small and lousy . I placed the order for 2 wing and shrimp dinners with fries the shrimp were left out of the bag had to go back . Unsure why they debited my card 2 different amounts. The sauce was put in bottom sat wings on top probably why fries were cold and slimmy . Won’t go back .

Food was good but our orders wasnt right and all three orders with fries was somewhat undercooked. But over all okay.

This was the 1st time I had ordered from Lewey's. I ordered the Batter Fried Fish. It was Flounder, which is a fish I like.I cut off a small bite (due to the stroke I had I can only eat using one hand). It tasted good HOWEVER it had a bone in it! I cut another small bite, hoping it would be okay, but there were FIVE bones in it. I would have choked if my tongue had not felt the bones! I had to throw the fish away. What a waste! The cook had not deboned the fish, and no mention of that was mentioned when I placed my order.

Bought chicken tenders and they don’t give dipping sauce for them, they charge 50 cents for dipping sauce with tenders!! How insane and money hungry.. Could you imagine buying nuggets at McDonald’s and they charge you to get sauce with them!! Let’s be real.

Once I arrived home wirh my food, which was about 10 minutes, I was disappointed!! The oysters looked and tasted burnt. They were dark and scrawny and the shrimp were scrawny and medium hard. The eggs garlic sauce mixture tastes spoiled. So,as hungry as I was, I was not able to eat that and I did not worry about taking it back. I went to bed hungry ??.

I went last night just as they were closing up so I went back next day a Lil pricey $2 for a can of soda?but taste didn't disappoint I got crab cake shrimp n lakey flavor wings love his sauce

I get the chicken tenders and fries when I go here. Food is always cooked fresh, great taste, zero complaints.

Don't ever ever ever patronize this spot. They are worthless. The food is horrible and they have the nerve to upcharge you for all flats, when the flats itself is not a full flat more of the tip. Complete rip off. We order chicken tenders and got old fish instead. This place need to be reported to the BBB and channel four news and ran out of business. Worse food in Jacksonville.

A tasty treat that's tucked away in a food truck on the Westside of Jacksonville. I first learned of the astonishing , big ,flavorful, beautifully prepared seafood AND wings when my fiance surprised me with a tray after working there. After Mike introduced me to Mr. Lewey's amazing food....I CAN NOT get enough! The prices are Excellent! Portions are perfect and the big robust flavors leave you satisfied and yet anticipating a return to this fantastic hidden gem ! Oh and the owner makes this amazing fruit punch and ?( I won't tell the mystery ingredient lol but) it's a Non alcoholic fresh, light ,and fruity, very pleasant drink that I can't get enough of . I highly recommend for all to give it a try...you will not be disappointed...and the location is smartly laid out ,spacious,and clean!‼️?Happy eating ❤️ Rene'e

I drove 30 minutes to pick up an order , only to get home and find that I had been given the wrong order. When I went back to pick up the right order , I was provided a complimentary drink ! Mind you I drove 20 minutes in the rain, 10P shrimp dinner the shrimp were the size of the tip of my pinky Finger/ over cooked. Next time I will happily go somewhere else pay much more to get quality food .

Ordered 10 wings 10 shrimp wings were undercooked and shrimp was missing. They use to be amazing. They are trash now.

screwed my order up and tried to blame the driver. chicken was undercooked too.

Pretty good spot. Wings are lil to mach the price. Flavor is the staver. The service was .... Just ok... As a delivery driver I was there to pick up food and ended up coming back and when I put my order in. Ran a delivery took a break to eat and came back to no food had been prepared for me. All o got was a " that's my bad" from the young lady... And a 10 min wait.... Again
