The foods ok. Kinda bland. The service was also bland and a little stand offish. Cute place tho and the puffs were good. The crepe cake tasted like nothing.

Had several pastries to go from LOS. May be way to go based on previous reviews of busy & inconsistent coffees unless small order. Serve delicate gourmet baked goods. Good especially for baby boomers trying to keep it light. Have some ube infused items that are unexpected.

Absolutely everything was fantastic. Actually tastes like real pastry’s, not sugar filled tasteless ones like at other places.

Light On The Sugar is a local, family-owned business, it distinguishes itself with a fantastic Asian influence. Their treats cleverly incorporate ingredients like pistachio nuts, taro, and ube, which not only lend a beautiful, vibrant color but also contribute to an unforgettable sweet-savory flavor profile. I thoroughly enjoyed my fresh taro latte – it was to die for, and my only complaint is that I wished there was more of it! I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm in the Jax area.

We came in as a family to get hot coffee and desserts but the hot coffee was barely even warm. We asked why it wasn’t hot and they said because it was a large order. We had 5 lattes total. They offered to remake and we had 2 of the lattes remade. The second time it was perfect like how it should’ve been the first go. Also the seating area is very poor and always crowded it definitely needs to be expanded. The desserts were awesome nothing to say there.

Best! Best! Best!!!!

Great for when you do not want anything too sweet. Added saltiness was a nice compliment to the desserts. The tiramisu float seemed to be missing something but the coffee flavor was spot on. Will be heading back to try their other offerings.

I ordered on uber eats so I haven't been to the cafe irl but it was so good I had to go out of my way to leave a review on uber eats AND google. The cream puffs here are so orgasmically good that I will be thinking about them every time I'm in bed with a man for the rest of my life. The coffee was amazing but those cream puffs awoke something in me. I felt like I was transported into a past life where I was a poor servant in France and I was to be executed for stealing cream puffs from my master, but my only regret was not eating more of them.
Pretty sure the baker is doing some kind of black magic back there. Not my business, not my problem, give me 14 of them.

Vegetarian options: Most items on the menu are vegetarian for my veggie friends out there

Super cute and tasty seasonal desserts. Just phenomenal execution of all the desserts I tried.
The creme brûlée creme puff and then Ferraro rocher seem the most popular.
They highly recommend the Ube dessert.

Very charming & cute place with a great atmosphere! I loved their iced matcha and though I didn't try them, all the pastries/desserts looked good too. My dad got a hot latte; he's can be a huge coffee critic and he said it's one of the best he's had which is high praise lol.

I would definitely want to come back again! The inside of the cafe is very aesthetic, though quite small so I can imagine it getting quite crowded at certain hours.

The sweets are good. Unfortunately they do not accept cash so that ruins the whole situation for my family. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Stop allowing businesses to be cashless.

Dessert is good the people serving you are not pleasant. Not the first time we have had this kind of service from here.

To say I am obsessed with this place is an understatement. They have the actual best, pastries ever! I can’t get enough of their crème brûlée puff. It’s also nice seeing all the special additions that they do weekly.

Light on the sugar! Not sure about the light part just from looks but they do say most cream puffs have less sugar than normal in bakeries. Pistachio latte was rly good but very strong!

Love, love their coffee. I haven’t tried their desserts yet but they all look so amazing.
I am in love with their pistachio latte since a different *certain* coffee shop stopped doing pistachio. I also tried their strawberry coffee which was fun and different for me ?
