Beautiful place, nice servers but the experience was ruined by the food.

The menu items were not available, the limoncello pizza, the black noodle pasta, the Caesar salad was unable to be ordered. Why? The pizza oven was not on, they were out of black noodles & they didn't have enough lettuce to fulfill the salad.

They didn't tell me that the food had a squid in it either, it's gross, gross! The mussels were legit slime, didn't get to enjoy ONE! ?

I thought I was crazy at first for thinking that my food tasted like pee, until my daughter leaned over & asked me if my food tasted funny, then she said the same thing that it tastes like PEE! Basically: anything that wasn't made in the kitchen i.e. the sodas & wine were good, everything else was gross...like how do you mess up fries?

Save your money, it was gross, Maggiano's is just over the bridge, go there.

Was literally the worst food i have ever. Half the menu items weren’t even available. Honestly 100 other places that are way better.

0/10 highly don’t recommend, the owner needs to wake up this place is sinking!!! First red flag is the door is locked and you need to walk into the restraint next door to enter. Kitchen doesn’t know how to prepare food, we ordered 3 entrees and everyone got returned. Hair in food, terrible quality and they don’t wear gloves when preparing. A/C didn’t work and place was empty with a creepy vibe. Sad it seems like it has so much potential but seems like it’s being driven into the ground by the ownership/staff. When leaving, Manager said “Yeah I normally only recommend the bar here, food really isn’t good.” THE MANAGER SAID THAT, you know the one in charge? Do yourself a favor and BEWARE OF THIS PLACE

My wife and I returned here for a second visit but, sadly we won’t be back.

Our first visit was relatively pleasant. We arrived and the main door was locked, even though there is a sign with an arrow pointing to the door! We peered in and saw no hostess at the stand. We figured out that we had to enter through the adjoining restaurant - Bistro X. We asked about the door being locked the hostess stated there was an issue with a homeless person, but I believe that they just don’t want to pay another hostess since there was so little floor traffic. As we waited for service, we watched several others pull on the door. We motioned them to walk around. We were trying to help this little place out! We had pizzas which were very good, but the bruschetta ($12 for 4 pieces) was severely overpriced as was the desert. Service was good and entrees are priced well, so we thought we would give it another try…

We returned on 6/21/24:
We made a reservation, since it was Friday although there were in two or theee other tables. The main entrance was locked again - even though the sign with the arrow pointing to the entrance remains! We remembered to walk though the adjoining French restaurant.

The hostess took us back and instructed us to sit where ever we would like. We sat a a table and after a few minutes, I realized it had a serious wobble. I’m a fix it guy, so I went under the table to adjust it. I realized the table was missing a foot and someone had stacked a pile of wedges to try to level it, but they just fell over. So, we switched tables. The new table also had a severe wobble. I went to fix this table and found the foot to the other table! I placed the foot on our first table and took one of the wedges from the stack and tried to fix the second table. Upon doing this the server (middle aged woman, dark hair) screamed in an angry voice, “Why don’t you let the staff do that?!? Now you’ve ruined 2 tables!” I told her I was just trying to help. The staff wasn’t around for two entire table adjustments! I didn’t need to be scolded for trying to remedy a situation that should not exist. My wife was flabbergasted by her volume and aggressiveness. She had enough and said, “I think we should leave.” The server responded with a scowl, “I think that would be best.” So we did. We won’t be back.

Notes for this restaurant:
- Open the main door, or at least have a prominent sign directing you to enter through the adjoining restaurant.
- When setting up for service, check the level of all the tables. Broken tables should be removed at this time - not band-aided with wedges that will just slip out. Good furniture is one of the smartest investments a restaurant can make.
- Hire staff that responds in a more pleasant way. Our servers response should have been, “I’m sorry about those wobbly tables! Give me a minute and I’ll fix that right up for you!” Disgruntled staff damages your bottom line. We’ll never be back.
- Examine your pricing structure. Entree pricing could inch up a little, but lower the desert and appetizer prices.

I wish you luck!
