I was introduced to Louisiana Fish & Chicken through a friend and was told I needed to make the 30-minute drive if I haven't tried them yet.Initially, I was thrown off by the presentation, but after receiving my food, I knew exactly why this place was given praise.The food was excellently seasoned, and cooked in such a way it wasn't overly greasy, and the French fries were wonderful even after my drive back. People there were super friendly. Seemed like a staple in the area. Not the newest joint in town obviously, but adds that factor of a place that has long been standing for 2 generations or so. Chicken tenders were on point and so were the fries. Hard to find places that are as bang for buck and glad to still see places like this. They even have a 5.99 daily lunch special.
This place has delicious finger-licking food! Everything is made fresh. Their fish is hearty, and their shrimp is perfectly cooked. Since every is fried it may not be the healthiest, but it's definitely good!(The restaurant has two drive-thru lines.)
