I love the Mozarella Lubi! They have made significant improvements to this location. And I'm so glad they are still in business after 55 years!! It's a unique, locally-owned, fast-casual restaurant that's been around since 1969. Place your order at the counter and sit to eat.
The chairs and tables need an upgrade, but the decor is much better.
But I will be back for the Lubi's Subs as a loyal fan!!

I grew up eating Lubi’s subs. It was our go-to meal for lunch when I was going to Wolfson High School. Sadly, the university location is no longer there. But thank God for this beach location! Good ole chili sub with a cherry limeade!! Lubi’s recipes are still amazing 20 years later! Love love love this place!!

My coworker and I go to lunch there almost everyday. It’s cheap and the salad on sub is the go to.
Staff is not really friendly, but it’s cool, it’s fast and don’t need to socialize too much.

We got the Mean Machine and the Stroganoff with a large cherry limeade! looks like a mess but is absolutely delicious!!
Been going to Lubi's for over 40 years and they taste as good today as when I first tried them. Love the Original Lubi with hot peppers.

CHEESE PULLS Have I really never done a review? I’ve loved Lubi’s since I was in middle school. 27 now and still stop by this Jacksonville staple every time i work in the area for a stroganoff steamed sub and my favorite carrot cake (today I tried a lemon bar and I’m not upset one bit) The owner pops around often to check on everything and everyone is wonderful
UPDATE: right after I posted this I heard someone ask for the owner, he comes out and the other customer said his sister drives all the way from North Carolina and has to stop here on the way in and out of town Says how good it is

OG Lubi and Limeade is my go to. The atmosphere gets a 5 for nostalgia. It was great 30 years ago and remains the same. It's a classic.
