Had the Lumpia and BBQ chicken - fabulous
Great food and very decent price. Very fresh. Only take aways at this location. And they are closed on Tuesdays.
We tried their house special fried rice and Bihon. Bihon was really superb. And good quantity.
Lumbia and Chicken wings were good too.

Great hole-jn-the-wall spot that has the authentic Philippines stamp of approval. It’s take out only and there’s not that much parking, but the food is worth it.

Food is always freshly cooked and delicious. I’ve been a regular customer for maybe about ten years or more. My whole family enjoys their food. The food speaks for itself. They are nice couple.

This is a mom and pop restaurant. It's to go only no inside dining. I normally get an order of lumpia and pancit. Total is 25.00. You get like 10 lumpias and pancit is full size. I always have leftovers. I will update with a Pic next time.
Parking: This is a tight spot to park in front of. But easy in and out location

Great food, but it's takeout only. Call ahead, wait time could be up to 45 mins.

This is by far one of the best Filipino restaurants in Jacksonville! The prices are reasonable and provides you big servings unlike Maharlika Filipino restaurant which is very pricey, barely gives you any food & food is awful! Mama Lu’s Filipino food is tasty and very good! Highly recommend this Filipino restaurant!

Mama Luz Filipino dishes are delicious and affordable. Super nice lady, I just wish they open their eatery again to public. You can only order through drive thru and they also accept bulk orders.

I'm not sure why I don't visit Mama Lu's more often. Could it be because it's tucked away on St Johns Bluff, making it easy to overlook? Possibly. Is the parking situation a bit challenging? Definitely. But let me tell you, the effort is absolutely worth it for some of the best Filipino cuisine in the city. I found myself swerving into Mama Lu's cramped parking lot just for a quick bite. I ordered chicken adobo and dinuguan with white rice. The chicken adobo is insanely delicious. Their dinuguan, typically a savory stew made with pork offal, was made with chunks of pork instead, and the gravy was rich, thick, slightly sweet, and utterly delightful. If you're on the hunt for fantastic Filipino food, don't hesitate to give Mama Lu's a try.?
