Mambos Cuban Cafe Express

Fabulous food. Cuban and Black bean soup is as good as Miami.Noticed To-Go orders appear to take president over dine-in customers. This may be a hangover from the pandemic, but frustrating none the less.

Went for lunch and had one of the express bowls, rope vieja, white rice black beans and fried sweet plantains. $13 with a drink, meat was tender and moist and well seasoned with large chunks of sweet peppers and onion. It was fast and service was fast. Portion was large so I have enough for lunch tomorrow.

I have nothing but love for this place. Having Being part Cuban they are authentic and food is so good your plate will be clean . No leftovers . Excellent Service as well ! Check them out you will be happy you did!

Absolutely rude management and the food is terrible!! This is my first and LAST time coming here. I went here on my break, thinking of getting something quick. So I called in advance, and when I got to the restaurant I was expecting my food to be ready. They ended giving my order to the wrong person so I had to wait another 20mins to make a new one.. the cashier asked the manager if he can pay for my order just to make up the inconvenience, she said no. I asked for a discount because I’m on break and that took up too much of my time, and that wasn’t my fault. The manager also said no. Since they made me a new one I didn’t deserve anything for my inconvenience. So I paid the full $17 for overcooked chicken, and rice that tasted like play-do. The cashier tried to help me out but that manager was RUDE. I don’t appreciate being treated like that. She might be racist.. don’t come here. It’s not worth the money

Truly enjoyable experience. Food was wonderful, so much flavor and portions were perfect. SO GREAT!!Service was great, though would have liked refills on drinks, however their was only 1 server at lunch on a Saturday.

It was our first time ordering from here portions were plentiful taste was excellent price was even better since both my wife and I still half a Cuban sandwich left . Esteban was very nice too. Definitely a good choice we will be back

Cuban was pretty good! Went here for a quick lunch and service was great and quick too. I wont say it’s the best Cuban on the face of the planet but it was well prepared and a great meal.

First time ordering from here. Picture that I added shows two entrees Lechon Asado (left) and Vaca Frita (right), with extra sweet plantains (8 total in each box) for $1.75 each. Total was $37. Lechon asado tasted good, but vaca frita was super dry and had no seasoning.....i had to add some adobo and salt to make it more edible. Overall it was alright but i was disappointed in the vaca frita.....i shouldve tried the ropa vieja instead. I also think the original price of $15-$16 per entree is $1 or $2 more than it should be for the amount of food you get, but that's just my opinion. May try this place one more time

I love the one over on Southside but I ordered from the one on San Jose tonight and got the worst Cuban sandwich I have ever had. The bread wasnt even cuban bread and it was burnt. It was cold and had about 1 oz of meat total. Waste of $12. Plantains were good but also cold. Will never be back to this location.

Delicious! The black beans and rice are amazing. The lime on the pan con lechon is the perfect amount.
