Nice atmosphere at the marina, so good views. Very loud inside, so tough to have a conversation. Service was very good, as were our beverages. Food was mediocre. Oysters were dry and looked like they had been opened for several hours. My steak was undercooked and the lyonnaise potato’s were over cooked and oily. My crème broulie was average and cold, but should have been warmed before serving. I can’t see any reason to come back to this restaurant.
The view of the river and boat docks is beautiful. This was an impromptu visit. The special is brazed lamb shanks, with spinach and potatoes. The lamb was fall off the bone tender. Delicious!
I came by myself and sat at the bar on weekday, Stephanie attended to me and was very attentive, nice and gave great recommendations! I had the seared scallops to start and bistro steak! I took home the cheese cake and it was delightful!
Compliments to the chef and I’d definitely be back!
My one thing is brighter lighting in parking lot!

Marker 32 has been a Jacksonville gem for Well Over a decade, and it’s easy to see why. The food, the service, and the location right on the water make it a place I’ll always recommend to friends and family visiting from out of town.
I recently brought my aunt and uncle (visiting from Texas and Atlanta), and it was one of three places I suggested near their hotel. They absolutely loved their meal — even though we didn’t end up with a window seat as requested days in advance, the experience was still wonderful.
If I could offer one small piece of constructive feedback, it would be this: I’d love to see a few fresh additions or seasonal updates to the menu. Everything on it is fantastic — it’s just been consistently the same for at least 15 years (which says a lot about how well-loved those dishes are!). A few rotating specials or new seasonal dishes would give regulars even more reason to keep coming back.
Still, Marker 32 continues to deliver the kind of quality and hospitality that’s very well appreciated. It’s a true classic that remains one of my go-to recommendations for visitors and locals alike. I’d love to visit more often, eventhough I’ve never lived close to this restaurant. I’d make the trip more often for some fun, new additions on both the food and drink menu.

Excellent food and service. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Celebration of our 50 year wedding anniversary with family
We really enjoyed our meal last night! We started with tuna poke served with wonton chips. It was so fresh and the chips were crisp. My husband got the grouper special and ate it all. I got the scallops. They were seared perfectly, the grits were creamy, and I'd love the collards recipe lol. Thanks for a great meal
I wish I could give a zero. Horrible food, my husband’s fries were so hard we could hammer nails with them I swear. My grouper was about the same, chewy and dry. I wish we’d had our NYE dinner in another place. Completely ruined our day,
We had a wonderful experience at Marker 32. Everything from the lovely atmosphere to reception to dessert was perfect. The wait staff are perfection. They anticipated every need without "hovering". We like to share a multi-course meal and I appreciate a kitchen that accommodates that by spitting the plates. We shared oysters (large and juicy), warm spinach salad (very unique and delicious), scallops (seared to perfection), creme brulee, espresso and a delicious bottle of Sancerre. Highly recommended!!

The ingredients seemed good but the resulting food was awful. Way too much salt, sugar and sauces with everything. Maybe it’s my English palate but everything was ruined by too much seasoning and too many sauces. It would all be better by simplifying everything and focusing on the ingredients.
The food and service were both superb. The atmosphere was okay. It was extremely loud to me and my husband so we couldn't really enjoy our meal. I left with a migraine from the noise.
