Mateo's and Bold City brewery are one of the best local food and brew places in Jacksonville. The foods is always amazing and they one of the best burgers in Jacksonville if not the best in my opinion. Oh and don't sleep on these nachos.
Who doesn't like a brewery attached to a restaurant. We grabbed some mac n cheese bites, a chicken taco, a cheesesteak and a hot dog combo. The standard issue we had with all of the dishes they were over salty, but it's bar food. The stand-out winner of all the dishes was the chicken taco, totally amazing!!! Great place to discover since Sirsy (the band) told us they were playing here. We are from North Carolina and this place would be perfect in Asheville too. Great staff and bites to eat and drink. Thanks for a great experience.
