Michael was a fantastic server. We got the Chefs Tasting Menu for valentine's day with a combination of my wife and I's birthdays. I have never had an experience at a restaurant quite like this. Michael explained all of the courses masterfully, and truly took his service experience to the next level. 11/10 experience, will definitely be choosing Matthews for all of my future events and occasions.
My fiancé took me for my birthday and the experience was not what I expected from a fine dining restaurant. We had reservations at 8pm and we arrived about 10 minutes early. We checked in and were greeted by a gentleman and informed our table was almost ready. The hostess was very awkward by her contradiction to what the gentleman had just told us. We went for dinner, with a reservation, on a Friday evening to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
We were seated promptly when we arrived, a little early. The ambiance is pleasant, if slightly noisy. A small table was brought for my wife to place her purse, which is a nice touch.
