I’m a first time customer. I ordered a medium cheese pizza and I was very disappointed. By the time I got home, the pizza was dried up. Hardly any cheese on it.

As a Jax native I’d say this is the best Italian food here. Their service is great too. Everything we’ve had from Matt’s has been delicious. If you haven’t eaten here you’ve gotta check it out!

The sauce tasted like straight tomato paste and the spaghetti may have been the worst I ever had. The teenage girl serving us was inattentive. I had one refill and was given an eye roll when she grabbed my plastic cup. I have had a better experience at Fazoli’s. If I had spent Fazoli prices I would not be writing a nasty review, but this place is way overpriced for the slop they serve.

I stopped by this town after a long road trip and this was the absolute ideal place: I got to enjoy a wonderful dinner (chicken parmigiana with the dinner salad), a cold beer in such a peaceful atmosphere. The service was also quick and extremely kind. The music in the restaurant was at just the right volume and had a feeling that I was in a most wonderful movie — this made me day after a long trip! I will be back if I’m ever in town again

I had to slow down i was eating so fast almost choked. Usually go with pizza and stromboli but meatball sub was delicious!

I've moved to the area a year ago and tried lots of pizza places in JAX. So far, Matt's is by far the best and as close to our favorite pizza from our home in San Diego. Our go to is a large, light sauce, pepperoni, black olives, extra cheese, and extra crispy!
