The service was excellent, the coffee was delicious, and I loved the strawberry lemon coffee cake. It was awesome that they had gluten-free options! Will definitely come back soon!!

On a whim, decided to go old school and order a simple drip coffee (black with a splash of cream) and was astounded at their house blend. It’s rich and smooth and balanced and velvety, very traditional flavors—no lemon or brightness that seems to be trendy these days. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had a regular cup of coffee that made me stop and simply enjoy the experience of drinking coffee. It’s worth every penny. Thank you Mechanism!

My husband & I just moved to the area and have been trying out different coffee shops in the area & this one is by far our favorite! The atmosphere is cozy and clean, the baristas were sweet and helpful, and the lattes and food were amazing. I would highly recommend trying their seasonal drinks as well!

This place is our favorite coffee spot in Jacksonville🤍. Whenever we come here, they've never disappointed us with their coffee and bakery choices. The Cappuccino is my favorite here. Since it's the holiday season, if you don't like overly sweet coffee, I highly recommend the gingerbread cinnamon latte😋☕️🍬

Great place. My family and I came across this shop out of convenience driving south but intentionally went out of our way heading back home. The bagels are very soft and eggs are made perfectly. Drip coffee was really good and even my wife (who is very particular) enjoyed her coffee.

Everything from the moment we walked in was perfect! I’m very picky with coffee because I drink coffee because I love it and not to keep me awake. The service was top notch, the coffee is super delicious, the bagels are als really good. What impressed me the most is how attentive and nice the staff is. You can tell the owner is treating them well. Then I go to their website to check the hours just to find out that they are closed on Sundays which is even better! If I lived in the area, I would apply for a job here. But I’ll for sure visit each time we are around.

My first impression when I walked in was how busy and open this coffee shop is. There were so many different types of people and the busy chatter. I ordered an iced latte and didn’t end up liking it and the barista was actually REALLY sweet and helped me find something different that I would like. (I am a picky coffee drinker). The staff was super friendly and seemed to be on top of cleaning and delivering orders to tables. I also got the pumpkin spice Rice Krispie bar and it was SOOOOOOO good. The person that baked here is amazing and all her baked goods are delicious. She also provides her baked goods to Soul Coffee.

I ordered a mocha latte and their sweet potato breakfast burrito! Starting in on the latte, the espresso was lovely and perfectly sour - I’ve been to many cafes in Jax, and this was the tastiest mocha latte I’ve had here. The oat milk latte art was gorgeous as well, these baristas are talented.
The burrito was quite good, maybe a bit much on the sweet potato but I’d love to try more of their menu moving forward and it was good for what you get. It’s an actual kitchen so the food tasted fresh too.
The atmosphere was cozy and chic, and quite busy for a Monday afternoon! Highly recommend, one of the best spots I’ve been to so far
