The proverbial hole in the wall that is an absolute gem no one knows about. They do one thing good here and it's the pizza. Don't bother with anything else you take your pie and go home. No commercials, no flyers, no nothing. If you don't live in the immediate area or happen to have come across it for some reason (Most likely seen it after visiting the UPS Store in the same plaza.) you wouldn't know it existed. There are exactly 3 pizza places in Jacksonville...
I found this place on line and I can't be I live so close to this restaurant and it took me 3 years to discover it. My husband and I are from the pizza capital NJ and we loved it the sauce was perfect . We used to have pizza every Saturday night from a chain restaurant for 3 years but since we found mega pizza it will be our Saturday night place. The owner are so personable and friendly. I tell everyone about this place ! Ps the calzon was amazing. See you Saturday night...
It's been there for 26 years, but somehow we didn't find them until a few years ago. I'm glad we did though! We typically order our pizza for delivery and it ALWAYS arrives fresh and hot and DELICIOUS. The crust is perfection and it has the right amount of sauce and cheese. The owners of Mega Pizza are always kind and helpful. The drivers are also. It's nice to support a small business instead terrible chain pizza.
