Seated quickly, our server was great and very attentive. The food took foreverrr and everything dough based (pizza, calzone) was weirdly underproofed or undercooked and gooey. The pizza was delicious and nicely topped aside from that. The calzone was undercooked and under filled. Even the “pretzel bites” which are basically just pizza dough were weirdly gooey. The flavors were decent, but it was 100% not worth the money we spent. For the time we waited we expected the food...
Let’s talk about TIP-FLATION. I ordered a pizza just, I pressed “submit”, not seeing the automatic $5.00 tip attached to my “takeout order”.
You have to be mindful when checking out now, these companies are pinching pennies and relying on you not paying attention.
Otherwise, great people, food and service, but I don’t like the sleezy on-purpose tip-scam most of these places are doing post-pandemic.
