My wife and I had been to another Metro Diner in Florida. It was new, so when we saw this Diner, we wondered if Google Maps led us astray. NOT SO!! This is the ORIGINAL Metro Diner. What a treat!! The freshly prepared food was served HOT, was fast in coming out, the entire staff seemed to work together in one unit, and the vibe in the Diner was nothing but positive. The two meals shown in the photos were less than $13 each, and neither of us was able to finish what was brought...
Friendly service is a good start at this local diner. Huevos Rancheros are delicious, but be ready for a big serving! All in all the breakfasts we're yummy good! Stop by when in Jacksonville!!!
Love this location. It actually has a diner vibe to it. It is ran like a fine oiled machine. We sat at the bar and got to experience the orders coming in and being made…very impressed. The food was great. Nina, our server was spot on with the service she provided even with being extremely busy with other customers.
