Went to Metro diner for our first time since moving to Jax, it was amazing. Our server David was great. He was very attentive. Our food was out quickly and it was freshly cooked and hot. We loved it here my husband had the fried chicken Benedict’s with the gravy like David recommended and it was the best egg Benedict’s we’ve ever had. The chicken was tender and juicy just amazingly good. I got a meat lovers omelet and it was also one of the best omelets i’ve had. Will definitely be coming back. The sunset mimosa was also really good. Thank you David for a first good impression at Metro diner.

As a regular here, even in the busiest times, it’s always been amazing. The food has been perfect every time, I definitely recommend the loaded potato soup- everything is amazing. The servers remember us, our drinks, etc. It’s like a home cooked meal and restaurant quality food mixed together. 100% will keep going.

I am a regular for breakfast and dinner at this location. This morning was my first time having Allie C. as my server. She was very kind and personable. The food was great as usual, but Allie made my experience this morning exceptional. I hope to have her as my server again in the future.
I had a bad first experience at Metro Diner and honestly didn’t think I’d ever go back. However, Brian Pitts from Metro Diner Ortega management reached out to me personally, apologized, and offered me a free meal along with a $13 coupon for my next visit. That was awesome customer service on his part—he really stepped up and took care of the situation immediately. Thanks Brian for everything I will be back.
