I’m from out of town and stay in the Baymeadows area for 2 extended periods during the calendar year. Metro Diner Southside has been my go-to breakfast stop for the past 6 years. The staff is so much fun to deal with, and it’s flattering to know that they recognize me whenever I stop in. Grandson approved! He enjoyed his chicken fingers and helped himself to my shrimp and grits. I didn’t realize how large of a portion you receive however it was enough to share. We also ordered dessert to go. The waitress were so nice and the manager as well.
