The food here was really good. The wall art was also amazing. The portions sizes were crazy, which I am not complaining about. Overall good food and good people.

Mi Casa is closed and new owners took over Tacos Maria is the new place and they are terrible. The service was the worst, they brought a table that came in long after us their dinner first. We had six and they had four but we were told it was because “we were a large group”. We waited almost an hour then they brought one dinner, 5 minutes later the next so we did not eat together. Ask for a glass of water that I never got. When we arrived there we were the second table. One more table and a to go order after. I am sad to see this wonderful place that had excellent service go down the drain. Avoid the new place who are using this great review from Mi Casa to get customers in.

Stopped in to visit the Karaoke DJ, Jose, who's an old friend from the 90s. The vibe was awesome and Jose sounds more amazing than I remember. Such a fun night!!

I’m all for authenticity where Mexican is involved, but after looking at the reviews and giving this place a chance, I am super disappointed. The presentation was amazing!! However, I did not eat my food, the menu price was 8.99 - receipt 9.50. I ordered what I thought to be white queso- it was fresh out the can orange, not white queso- menu price 4.95/ receipt 5.00. Just very strange to say the least. My food unfortunately had what they call “queso” all on it… and further covered in Parmesan 🫣and because the queso appetizer came after my food, I was unable to change my order. As I explained to the waiter that though the prices were not unreasonable, the food was not what I was expecting… he rolled his eyes. I told him I did not need any further help, I will pay the whole bill and write a review.
My kids both enjoyed there’s, we left the “queso” on the table along with my whole meal. They are also under a new name… but haven’t changed it here. The murals are beautiful too!
The reviews I read are so great it makes me second guess my experience, but the whole eye roll ruined it.
Written after reading other reviews:
So after reading ALL the reviews: It has been known the prices do not match and the restaurant has addressed it below, but blame it on the banks. The responses to the reviews are incredibly rude and unprofessional. Probably why they have changed their name but not updated the business.
They are stealing when they offer something at a price and charge more money. They are obligated to tell you what you are being charged for.
I also paid in cash and no discount?!

Tacos were good. Wish there were some options that were ready to eat or that I could order in advance.

I usually leave negative reviews for coffee shops with metal chairs, but this Mexican restaurant left me speechless for different reasons. First, the chips were stale and even had a dead ant. While I don’t care, but in a restaurant… To make matters worse, the restrooms didn’t have soap, and I saw staff members using them — so they washed their hands with just water?
The owner seemed more interested in showing his staff pictures on his phone than managing the restaurant. The service was incredibly poor, and despite usually tipping 30% or more, this was the first time I left almost no tip.
This place either needs a serious overhaul or should consider closing. I’ve been to many Latino restaurants, and this one has a lot of work to do. Starting with soap in the restrooms and proper hand-washing practices would be a good start.
