Ordered the sampler. The brisket was cold and dry. Ribs left much to be desired,very cold, no smoke flavor, and seemed like they were cooked in the oven. This is not “Real BBQ”, we used to get this catered to us on NAS Jax and it was good, which was why I came here for a dinner date with the wife. It was such a let down from what I experienced in the past, can’t say that we will be back.

I give it a 3 out of 5. Because I felt the brisket we ordered had a intense use of salt.
It was way to salty and as you know a little bit goes a long way. So salty the serving we had was not eaten in its entirety. The full party of 5 being served all felt it had intense salty taste.
The pulled pork was nice. Green beans advertised as smokey was not. It was more spicy than smoke flavored.
Coleslaw looked home made and it's either hit or miss with coleslaw at restaurants. I would maybe give it a 3 3/4 star out of 5. Wasn't the best I ever had but wasn't bad. Could be made a bit better.
The corn bread that was served was harder and a little to dark around the edges. But the cornbread was decent. Again. Not the best I ever had.
The woman that showed us our online family of 5 meal as we picked it up was friendly and efficient. Portion size for price was decent. Could have been more.
I typically give higher ratings. If customer service is good. And it was good.
Out of the other two larger bbq places. I would rate Missions a bit above the other two.
Maybe we will try the ribs next time.

This was an amazing experience. The staff was outstanding and their professionalism and courtesy was absolutely amazing. I was telling my wife the sad part is that used to be the rule now it is the exception and this place and bodied it perfectly well. The staff were friendly and extremely personable

Took our daughter and granddaughter for lunch today. My wife had babyback ribs, daughter had brisket sandwich and I had pulled pork. All of the food was fantastic, service is always exceptional. Our favorite BBQ place in Jacksonville.

We always love coming here! However this is the first time a cook made a remark that was unsettling to us. The African American cashier was amazing tonight! They introduced a new item that we haven’t seen which was cheesy potatoes. We asked the cashier how were the potatoes and what all comes in it. She explained potatoes cheese and onions and offered us a sample of the potatoes. We said sure that would be great so she turns around to ask for a small soufflé cup of a sample and the cook, a heavier set Caucasian gentleman makes a remark in annoyance “It’s just cheese and potatoes” that was the most disrespectful conduct we’ve experienced here and prior to we have had no issues. It honestly made us want to leave on how he said it because it made us feel we were bothering him.

As always, our visit to this Mission location was great! The pulled chicken sandwich was fresh, hot & juicy; the sweet tea was dark, sweet & cold and the service was great!
One of the hosts, Emily, was quite personable making us feel most welcomed & stopped at our table often to refresh our drinks, bring additional condiments & even invite us to have dessert… we were just too full! The only sad part is having to wait a whole year for the Super Bowl; not for the game, but for the delicious smoked jumbo wings! Thanks Mission BBQ for honoring our Veterans & continuing to do great in the community!
I keep wanting this place to be good because it's just so convenient but after the 3rd time being disappointed I'll go elsewhere. As a vet I love the decor and if you could bottle atmosphere and service this place would be outta this world but if your business name is Mission BBQ that's gotta be your priority. After attempting to eat tonight's 2 meat combo I'm definitely appreciative for the ample selection of sauces you offer. Both the brisket and turkey were so dry they turned to saw dust in my mouth when chewed.

This place never disappoints. Food and service is always great. Lydia recommended the blueberry cobbler so we tried it. It's the best blueberry cobbler I've ever had. Thier cornbread is really good as well. Not to mention their amazing barbecue and fries. I 100% recommend anyone who's not eaten here definitely check them out
