This is a local upgraded version of Panera! Lots of homemade soups & dressings. Delicious homemade chicken salad & pimento cheese. My favorite is the southern salad which is a large bed of mixed greens topped with a large scoop of homemade chicken salad ( with grapes, walnuts & celery) tomatoes and croutons. I like to add cucumbers as well. They have an amazing condiments bar filled with homemade pickles, Parmesan cheese, breadsticks, garlic and more! They have fresh brewed teas as well! Love this place! They also have a quick takeout area that is stocked with delicious ready to go items for an easy pickup and go!

I am usually never disappointed with Newk's, but was a different story. I decided to order the taco salad to go because I to wanted to try the chili since I was considering buying the family chili night to-go meal. The chili was very disappointing. I believe I got the very bottom of the pan, no meat, five total kidney beans and the rest was just burnt water. To add to my disappointment with the chili, except for the very top layer, the lettuce was not fresh (black, wilted & mushy). And no, this wasn't from adding hot chili to it, I kept the chili separate in the to-go cup it came in. My salad was also missing the tortilla strips. :( I think I'll stick to my other favorite in the future.

One of my favorite places to grab some food in the Town Center. There are plenty of options for soups, salads, sandwiches, and more. My favorite menu items are the soups and the salmon caesar salad.

Food is good but do not like the fact they don't do uniform discounts. Those don't apply to me as I am not a first responder or a military personnel. If a company can't give those professions a discount I can't keep giving that company my 💰.

The spinach in my salad wasn't washed. Hard dirt particles. Dressing was flavorless. Chicken was like leather and dry. Lobster bisque soup tasted good, but no pieces of lobster. The iced tea was perfect, with real lemon wedges.

To me, Newks is like a much better Panera. Newks is my go to for lunch during the work day. Recommend their salads... The portion size is insane (in a good way)!
Stopped here for a quick bite with my brother. It seemed comparable to Panera, but with more pizzaz so we thought we'd give it a shot. They conveniently have a giant menu right by the door and ordering is done at the counter. After they give you a number that you place at the stand on your table which you seat yourself at. I was really excited for the food once I saw the condiment bar with so many tasty options to enhance to food to anyone's individual taste preferences. My favorite were the sriracha bottles because i love spicy food and the bread and butter sliced pickles. I feel as though if I'd gotten a salad I could taken better advantage of the condiment bar. Alas, I ordered the pick two with one sandwich and one soup. For the sandwich I got the Turkey Avocado which comes on a wheat bread which is perfectly crispy and is topped with Turkey, Avocado, tomato, and swiss cheese. I wish it had just a bit more turkey on it as it felt as though the bread kind of overwhelmed the middle fillings, I would definitely order it again with extra meat. For the soup, I got the chicken tortilla which had all the usual fillings, corn, chiles, chicken, and topped with corn strips and sour cream. It tasted too salty for my liking and the soup to ingredients ratio was way off and way too watery. I would not order this again. I will say both were really good portions and just the sandwich filled me up. If I come back again, I'll probably only try their salads and sandwiches.
