Was around the corner tonight at another bar they recommended these guys. Wife had steak quesadilla that was off the chain. My dumbass got 1 taco and ate it when I got home. Pissed I didn’t order more. They are low key in the running for best tacos and quesadillas downtown. Will absolutely return again

Good food. The server was not the greatest but he was kinda trying. He was working alone behind the bar yet when we sat at the bar, he took 3 orders before ours and we were there first. I asked him if he forgot about us and he said sorry. No big deal but it’s little things like that that makes me not go back a second time.

Not authentic Mexican tacos- I prefer street style tacos and traditional Mexican cuisine so this was a let down for me. Tacos come on flour tortillas and are made to be unique with their restaurant sauces ** I am not sure if you can request corn tortillas. The tacos are rather large and you order them individually. A single Taco is 5-7 dollars each. The table comes with chips and salsa on the house. Both of these items were underwhelming to me. The chips were very thick (not cantina style). Additionally, the red salsa tasted like it was regular Tostitos jar salsa. The green salsa was good however. If you order guacamole someone will come to your table and make it in front of you which adds to the dining experience. Alcoholic drinks and desserts are available here. The wait staff is hit or miss as far as friendliness. For parking, you can do valet, free street parking (but space is limited) or meter parking. This restaurant is in a nice part of Neptune beach that has other restaurants, cute shops, and bars around. The beach is walking distance as well.

Beware!!!!!!!!!!! I hate to leave bad reviews on places I enjoy. Butttttt.... I enjoy the food from time to time. I remember the 1st time I ordered a fish taco and it literally had nothing on it. I called the server back out like what is this. I tried them again a few more times things were ok no issues. I do think they are definitely overpriced. Went there the other night ordered 6 tacos my total was $61 and some change. 4 shrimp tacos at $8 each and two Brisket tacos at $7 each. The shrimp they serve are small shrimp if they were big the price would be right. I'm like wth so I looked at the receipt. They charged me 20% tip which was like $9 and some change and $1.89 or $1.98 for using my debit card. 🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄 the tacos were $46 got to $61 with tax, card fee, and 20% tip. They are stealing for their own customers who are supporting their business. It's sad I have never had this happen anywhere else is Jax. They did have the 20% tip on a sign I thought it was for if you eat there because maybe people don't tip. But how can you force a to go order to tip and didn't get any service. I stood in line to order my food. Other people were so confused at their total after ordering and looking at their receipt. It's sad

1st off I ordered my food to go why am i being forced to tip when no one gave me service besides taking my order. It was only me, I understand that with big parties and if you are setting down to eat there. Then I waited a very long time for my food. That's not good service and I'm forced to pay for bad service.

2nd, How do you make a customer pay for using a card? I saw a another review on here and his card service price was different than mine. What are the doing in there? This is ridiculous!!! If you can't afford to take cards just take cash only. Should not take it out on customers.

3rd. The tacos are not worth the price they have on them. Don't get me wrong they are good but should be no more than 5 each or 5.50. 7 and 8 is wayyy to high for what they serve.

Beware of the money they steal from you while you are just trying to support their business.

I understand food is high so the price goes up no problem but you turn around and force a high tip.

Be aware that this place automatically includes a 20% tip after tax, plus a credit card charge. Of course they also give the option of more tip on your receipt, just to stick it to their customers a bit more. You order at the bar, and bus your own table. So when you look at the menu prices, add 25%. Since the food is mediocre, I recommend skipping this place altogether.
