I love this place. The coffee was amazing and the blueberry muffin was delicious! As a special treat, we met a gentleman that stops in every day to eat. He told us the shop was a post office long ago. We will definitely be back. Also, you can special order cakes. The owner's wife's makes them and the ones I saw were beautiful.😊

Absolutely love the old world charm & flavors this establishment provides. It's a great place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the day to day & enjoy a proper tea time/ coffee break to put a pep in your step. Every baked delight is a show stopper & every beverage a perfect pick me up~

Amazing coffee. Great cupcakes and cookies. The cakes are wonderful but require 24 hrs notice. Worth it though

If you are looking for a special birthday cake that tastes so good that you are sure to come back for seconds and thirds!?! This is the place for you!!

I was recently shopping around for a birthday cake and this adorably cozy cafe caught my attention with their flyer at the window. I walked in and ordered a salted caramel chocolate cake without much expectations.... The results were beyond A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! I am so happy I came across this place! The cake was beyond delicious and so well decorated and made with such care and amazing quality! A chocolate cake drizzled with caramel and iced with salted caramel buttercream, what a delightful combination!!!

The owners were very friendly, helpful and beyond accommodating! Overall amazing people to do business with or just to have a friendly conversation! It was a great pleasure meeting you both! Wonderful family-operated business!

You just got yourself a happily returning customer!

5 Star Service!!!! Thank you so much!

This is an excellent cafe nestled in the Avondale district! They have a wide variety of beverages (including coffees and teas). They also have an assortment of pastries and baked goods, and even some breakfast items. What a wonderful local establishment!

The atmosphere was very weird. Unwelcoming. It was dark, and uninviting. The older guy working, was not welcoming either. No hello, good morning, welcome... he just came to the counter and stared at me. The first time he said anything to me was "what kind of bagel?" in the most harsh tone. Should have been my key to leave by this point but... My friend was still looking at the menu while I ordered. As I was giving my order, the guy turned his head away from me and made the nastiest face, looking my friend up and down. We were going to eat in, but once I got my bagel, that came on a Styrofoam plate, we left. It was sooo uninviting. It definitely gave "whites only" vibes.

This place was sort of limited and the guy running the place was hella weird! I won't ever go there again!

Cute little coffee place with pastries and muffins. We just had a couple of coffees. 2 small tables and chairs outside but a good amount of seating indoors.

The experience was unpleasant and cold. Also, the coffee was cold and did not taste good.

I have been in three times, my lashes it being yesterday..I live in Avondale and appreciate good experiences here, whether it’s a restaurant, a boutique, or anything good in the neighborhood.Unfortunately, this place probably should’ve closed years ago but for some reason there’s still keeping the door open.It smells like mothballs when you enter the restaurant, or some other stale smell, not sure what it is. The coffee is never hot, but lukewarm and I doubt it’s really Cuban, but I can’t confirm that.I trued a cupcake and mentioned the ones I had down the street that we’re very tasty, and an immediate insult was cast upon the other bakery in the neighborhood, which I found to be much more fresh and a much more pleasant experience after having tried the old cups, very cold, dense carrot cake cupcake. I know the owners claimed it was a masterpiece, and perhaps the ingredients were, but to me it just tasted like a hockey puck with cold frosting. The feeling and atmosphere there are also stale and cold. It’s time to retire this place and put something in there that makes sense and adds to the community.
