We decided to try something different for lunch today and we are happy we did! Nice small spot and extremely clean! Open kitchen makes your mouth water from the time you open the door. Counter ordering and they serve the food to your table. I didn’t review the menu prior to going so I stood there staring at the menu board drooling at every option they had. We ordered the Kabob plate and a Mediterranean pita with Mediterranean potato salad. Everything was fresh cooked and great portion sizes. The chicken was well seasoned, plump and tender. The steak was lightly seasoned with a delicious grilled flavor. The kabobs came with rice and peas and fresh grilled onions, peppers and tomatoes, yum, yum, and yum!The Pita was delicious stuffed with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, grilled chicken (same as kabobs), with taziki on the side, I did add some feta to the pita and it was xtra delicious. Now let’s talk about Mediterranean potato salad… never had it before today but I am sad that I have missed out on it all my life. It has fresh garlic, olive oil and other fresh ingredients, yes, you will have garlic breath after but all of the food leaves an aftertaste that makes you wish you could just eat more! Definitely must try this place out and pricing and portions are reasonable!Parking: There are a few stores in the plaza but it is definitely a bonus to have parking in San Marco

Other than perhaps the owner, whom we did not meet but heard he was having cars towed, the most amazing people work here! We came for an outdoor Wizard of Oz escape adventure in San Marco area, and the streets were super crowded with parking hard to find. Many of us were forced to park in strip centers.We heard from other escape room attendees that the owner started first thing having tow trucks come to remove the cars, but we did not witness this. In the end it seemed everyone WAS allowed to park in the strip center where the Olive Tree is located.By lunch the place was packed. I can’t help but wonder if people like us wanted to show our appreciation for the parking by having lunch there. We had a party of 5, were hungry after walking about a mile, and left a huge tip due to the wonderful employees who could not have been kinder. Food was great, too!My hope is that all of us can tap into that sense of community and care for one another in our cities and neighborhoods. As a result of walking for almost two hours, we visited a couple of establishments and saw many other businesses we might return to in the near future. I hope the owners of business can appreciate these type of positive experiences. With 3 small kids we really were grateful for the morning parking!

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always fresh, always delicious and well seasoned. The service is also wonderful. I didn’t realize until today that they don’t put any ziki sauce on their gyros. That was disappointing, but it was still delicious. Best falafel in town for sure. Hummus is perfection. Tabbouleh is perfectly balanced. Pita soft and fresh. If I could pick only one restaurant in Jax to eat at, this would be it for me. I was too hungry to take pictures, and once I took a bite, it was definitely not going to happen because it was too delicious. ??

As someone who was visiting the area for the first time, I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant in Jax. After a long day of work, we decided to try a variety of dishes, from appetizers to main courses, and we were blown away by the deliciousness of everything. Each dish was packed with flavor and made with utmost care. If you happen to be in Jax, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
