My partner and I love this place! We've been going four years since we moved to Jacksonville in 2021.
We've gone so much we are recognized by the staff, who's always friendly, especially the owner Josh.
On top of this, the food is excellent. I wasn't big on Sushi, that is until I tried this restaurant. The atmosphere is also very calm. Even when they're busy, it doesn't feel rushed or chaotic like most restaurants.
There isn't a day we are craving sushi, and our first choice isn't Open Sushi!

I have rated this place over and over it's the best place to be. It's hidden and no one really knows it's there. Josh is the owner he is so kind and will remember a face and know what you like. He will ask you the usual or something else. We always had the usual until we decided to try everything on his list and I love it all especially the chicken and shrimp vegetables dish cones with either fried rice or white rice. I love white rice 🍚. I also go there for my shumai and fried dumplings. You just need to go to experience it. Tell them I sent you.
The absolute best sushi place I have ever eaten and I have traveled all around the world. The service is impeccable the staff is so nice and remembers when you return. They keep this restaurant incredible clean and the music is authentic and peacefully instrumental. The lighting is lower and perfect for a nice romantic calm evening out. You won't regret it! Try the unagi and dynamite roll. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Our party of 9 all enjoyed our meals and it was a good place for us to be able to socialize and actually be able to talk. So many restaurants are too loud, but this was a great setting for us. Also important, our daughter had Celiac disease and cannot eat gluten and they understood and were able to accommodate her with no issues.
