So myself and my mother wanted to try this restaurant. I will have to admit we went into a little sticker shot when we were given menus. Also, the menu is very limited. We decided to split a meal and order an appetizer. The steak and cheese egg rolls were good other than the steak was a little tuff. We ordered the turkey wings which came out hot. However, the Mac and cheese and dirty rice came out cold. It was as if it was spooned out on the plate and it sat out until the turkey wings were finished frying. The wings were good other than wished they were a little more tender. We were not told about the special they had of buy a meal get a meal until we were reading about the restaurant. My mother inquired about the ad; and we were told yes. So we ordered the same meal and brought it home. I think this is a good thing to keep around. So, overall the food had a good flavor other than the dirty rice which was mushy and bland. This restaurant has potential. The menu needs a little more. The servers need to be made aware of any specials and price changes. Paying $3.00 for sweet tea is a little much. I think the buy one get one meal will help bring in business if customers know about it. We witnessed some customers walk in and walk right back out. Nope, its not italin food. Don't let the name fool you.

This place is a joke.The prices are high ,the food wasbarely passable and the atmosphere is Lakeshore.Don't spend your money.Go to Sonnys.

This place has potential. It has good food, but needs to build out the menu. What they do have is good and the rest will come with time.Ordered two appetizers off wings and done sides to try. The wings were barbeque and hot. The sides were loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, asparagus, collards, and baked beans.The wings are breaded and you can tell that it is good fried chicken. The hot wings have good flavor and not too hot, the more you eat the hotter your mouth will get. The barbecue wings are well coated with a slight smolder and very good. The loaded mashed potatoes creamy and balanced. The mac and cheese mac noodles are cooked and coated well. The asparagus seemed steamed and then charred at the end. The collards had good flavor, but might have to much salt depending pin the person. The baked beans were well balanced, not too strong or too weak.

Got hungry last night and decided to stop at this place since they were open and I must say… WOW! It was a very pleasant experience. Even though it was 12 am in the morning my food was hot and came out fast. Great job Palagio’s I’ll be coming back!
