Food wasn't horrible. It's not amazing it's what you'd expect honestly. What was horrible was the 45min wait & when put in food order it says they will text you. They send you the first automotive text to verify your number. Then never text it's ready instead quietly called names into the loud crowd so no one hears their name & many didn't know to be listening for it. Did you read the 45min wait^ in the crowd for your name to be whispered. Could have at least put a sign up saying they wouldn't text ready

The food was not good, chicken tenders were small and so dried out and crazy overpriced. The churros at the spot outside this restaurant were really terrible. I am usually not so negative but it was a really really terrible churro… like how do you get that so wrong?

Says open till 5 yet at 4:25 they are all boarded up. The park in general does not seam to think much of the visitors and taking care of them.

The food in parks usually all tastes the same. Dry, bland, reheated. Actually, that's how most restaurants are anymore. This place was a nice surprise. The chicken strips were seasoned perfectly and were freshly cooked and the fries were some of the best fries I've had anywhere. Local restaurants should take lessons from whoever makes the fries here! Great place!

For Zoo Food, it's pretty good...

Their new menu is really great! Much nicer than the standard tacos similar to Taco Bell that they used to have. I ordered the Palm meal for myself which is empanadas stuffed with rice and veggies and served with a side of fried plantains. So good! My husband had the Piggy Back- oh my goodness- such an interesting sandwich of chicken tender, pork belly, and alligator meat. Our son had the chicken little- single, regular chicken tender, which he enjoyed. The sauces were really good! I especially liked the spicy Mambo and the Coach Meyer lemon for dipping my empanadas in. The ranch (White Rhino) was incredibly delicious as well! They don't have a kid's menu, but the Chicken Little is a decent option as well as you can buy plain Mac and cheese if your kid is into that.

The food is good and the people weren’t scary unlike the Trout River Cafe

Very sad that we were waiting at the line for more than 5 minutes to buy nachos for my daugther (it was around 3:54pm) and we were the only ones at the line and when the employee called us we asked for nachos and a bottle of water. He told us at exactly 4pm that they can NOT serve anything from the kitchen after 4 pm!!! First time in this Zoo, first time at this "Cafe". Definitely less than 1 star! Horrible customer service, this was a very unpleasant experience for us!!! This happened July 6, 2019.
