Stopped on way from Amelia Island to Jax Airport.....near the airport....inside and outside dining overlooking the water...several interesting cocktails and several micro brews and main stream beers... had shrimp that was big and cooked perfectly....and the Mac and cheese was very very good...
We were just driving by and decided to go in and we're very happy we did. Derrick took great care of us! We enjoyed the entrees of Mayport fried shrimp and fried flounder. He told us the seafood came from their own boat that determines their 'catch of the day' menu. The sides of black beans, okra, french fries and fritters were all tasty--slightly different with regional spices and sometimes a hint of coconut. There was a nice choice of beer on tap at a reasonable...
Great location on the Saint Johns River, leading out to the Atlatntic Ocean. Easy going on a Sunday morning, with live music on the dock. Great place to sit back and enjoy friends, family, and make wonderful memories. Food is good. Definitely get the local fish and shrimp. Service was good. Managent was good.
