What can I say? I have been a patron of Park Place since David and Alan owned it and was thrilled to hear that David's sister is now the owner. I didn't go during the busy time, but it really hasn't changed much since I was last here about 4 years ago. I will always come back to pour one out and drink one for the memories. My friends and I went here yesterday and had a great time. Ray was understanding of my medical needs, and didn’t question my service dog. I don’t like to advertise she’s a service dog with a harness, and they didn’t give me a problem.

Fairly busy for 7 pm on a Sat. Supposed to be a video bar, and tho the music was ok but all the TVs were playing some lame cooking show. The bartenders were unfriendly. Typical for what I remember about gay bars. There must be better places in Jax than this lame place. The drink was awful.

Best drinks and atmosphere around! Welcome ing everyone from karaoke to bingo. Plus a huge patio for outside chilling. Love this place.
It's disappointing to see that in 2025, a venue that identifies as an inclusive space, such as a gay bar, is still fostering an environment where racism appears to be tolerated--whether by staff or ownership.
This establishment seems to cater exclusively to a certain demographic, making others feel unwelcome. There are far better and more inclusive places that truly value diversity and respect.
