Pepe's Hacienda & Restaurant

I ordered 3 corn and 1 flour ground beef taco. She asked how I wanted them. She then said you want them American. I didn’t see that on the menu but yes. That’s what I want. I get them home and not one of the 4 is correct. So sad. I really had high hopes. Looks like another one and done place for me. Very dissatisfied.

Let’s just say easily the best Mexican in Jacksonville, Fl. Food seasoned to perfection, grocery store next door selling all your favorites. I promise I thought I knew the best spots for Mexican in my city, but Pepe’s clearly had something to say about that. Hands down the best!

This is a place that you can come with the whole family. You can do your grocery while others drink some Cheladas with Totopos y Salsa.

Amazing food, atmosphere, and selection. My husband had their shrimp, steak, and chicken fajitas. It came with all of the sides and tortillas. Huge portions too. My son had their chicken and fries. It was a sliced chicken cutlet with house made fries. He devoured it! I ordered 2 tacos Pepe style with birria and a chicken tamale to try. We were obsessed with our meals and will be coming back. They also have a very nice grocery store connected to the restaurant. Our service was 10/10, everyone working here is so nice.

Pepe’s Restaurant was fantastic! I had the Menudo, a traditional Mexican dish, and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. The quality of the food was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back with the whole family!

I have a list of places in Jax I want to try and this location was one of them. They did not disappoint! Everything was flavorful and delicious! We ordered the shrimp tacos, beef enchilada, chicken (tenders) and fries (for the kids), and wings and fries.

The wings and fries were a hit! What a surprise! It was cool to walk around the market while waiting for our food. We really enjoyed it there, great job guys! ❤️

Oh, and to top things off. I love the decor and modern look of their bathroom lol

Nice place, but Completely Dishonest. Brought me food I didn’t order but I accepted it so the waitress wouldn’t have to pay. Charged me prices that were not on the menu and said the price changed. Isn’t this a new place? Then made up two even more unbelievable lies to cover why the prices changed? Cmon - no one serves 8 oz beers for $4.95 and I did not believe all of those glasses were broken.
