If it was any fresher it would still be swimming! This place is amazing and a local gem.

My husband’s meal was not good. The waitress went for cocktail sauce and didn’t return. When she came back and he told her food wasn’t satisfactory she said I’ll let them know. Gave a small discount but up charged for other items it seemed. We had looked forward to dining there. Disappointed!

I really enjoy view, meal, fresh air, this restaurant is local experience in mayport but for my point of view highly recommended

When we meet with our friends, this is our go to place; normally I love the food and the atmosphere. This time the service as usual was very good and my husband and our friends all enjoyed their meals of various fried seafood and fish. Unfortunately, I ordered the seafood chowder, it was way too thick, so thick you could almost eat it with a fork. I also ordered a shrimp taco which had a few not very tasty shrimp. Advice to customers when you go; enjoy their fried entrées. They are delicious. I’d stay away from what I ordered.

We had dinner at singletons. I had never been there before. The waiter was a very outgoing fun guy. We got our food and drinks in a timely manner. Everything tasted great.

Great food! We had the New England Clam Chowder (thicker than most, but great taste), onion straws (very good), and we shared the choose 3 dinner (double fried shrimp/fried clam strips....very good also). We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the boats and cruise ships. Highly recommended to us by a friend, and we would highly recommend as well! Enjoy :)

The location was great--right on the water and a nice view. The food was delicious, but not plentiful, especially for the price paid per meal. It was good to go to if you are in the area, though.

We enjoyed a late lunch consisting of a cup of New England Clam Chowder (which was to die for), and blackened Mahi Mahi! Fantastic meal & Chowder was so good, we brought 2 bowls home!

The best real Florida seafood restaurant! Have never had a bad dinner here, they know how to cook/fry seafood!

What happened to Singleton’s? We have been going there for years. Tonight the service was beyond horrible, a baked potato was old, several items never brought to us in spite of repeated requests. The manager tried to make good but bad is bad. No utensils brought, no requested condiments not even a second drink. I know it is hard to find people who want to work but the person tonight clearly didn’t want to work. No going back.

This place was packed! Lots of tables and seating inside and outside. Exceptional service and friendly wait staff. I was surprised how quickly we got our food and it was delicious! Seafood made the way you like it!

DON'T MISS THIS PLACE We got a recommendation from our Airbnb host to eat here. She said it is one of her favorites, now it is one of our favorites. The entire experience was GREAT. No wait, great hostess, great food (grilled shrimp, blackened shrimp, blackened scallops, and blackened flounder were prepared PERFECTLY) and great key-lime pie, and great scenery. We will be back!

Awesome service and food. My family LOVES seafood, me, not so much. I told the waitress the narrow of what I like and her suggestion nailed it. Drinks are no joke, no chincy on the alcohol. Can't recommend enough. So good!

The seafood quality was great and the portion size was outstanding. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The location was picturesque with great views of the St. John’s River and Mayport Basin. Although, a marina is located nearby, it was not too busy with boat traffic. Expect plenty of bird activity in this area. They love good seafood too!!

Stopped for dinner here on our way back from St Augustine. Started with the fish dip, didn't know what to expect and it was good. Then had soup, I had the oyster stew and the wife had the New England clam chowder. Oyster stew was nice, lots of oysters, NE clam chowder was a true chowder, thick and hearty. For dinner, I wen with the three fish combo meal with clam strips, shrimp and scallops and the wife had the special which was trigger. Both came with hush puppies which were really good, and we had coleslaw (best on the island) and a baked potato or fries. First, the food was excellent. Second, it was plentiful, and I mean lots!
