I always seem to find myself here on a Sunday every other few weeks craving their delicious mouth watering great tasting food! This family owned and operated restaurant is definitely a place to call in an order or order at the counter inside. Food is cook to order and seasoned like grandma used to do in the kitchen. You feel the great vibes and family atmosphere when you enter for a great experience. Southern cooking offering breakfast and lunch with various options to choose from such as fried fish, chicken wings, pancakes, philly cheesesandwichs, burgers, etc. We ordered this time thier Salmon Croquettes with cheese grits, fried porkchop with toast and cheese grits, bacon egg and cheese platter served with house punch. That house punch itself is phenomenal with a mango-pineapple taste (to me)! Definitely recommend this place to eat and enjoy, you won't regret and will definitely get your money's worth.***came back to try the strawberry crunch waffle and more house punch & OMG ?! Go check them out!***

Enjoyed the chicken and waffles from here. I tried the cookies and cream and cinnamon toast crunch waffles with chicken. It comes with a full waffle and 5 pieces of chicken drummettes. It was a plate that could be shared because I only ate one piece of the waffle out of 4 before you get full! The taste was there but it felt more like two different meals rather than to be eaten together. The chicken is served with a special sauce that has a kick and the waffles are served with maple syrup. The house Punch is a big cup and taste good. I will try it again.

Found this diamond-in-a-rough in downtown Jacksonville through Instagram, and let me say...SUPERB!!! The vibes were calming, welcoming, and refreshing as our order was made-to-order and nothing pre-made! I ordered the cinnamon toast crunch waffle, and my husband ordered the reeses pieces waffle with the fried chicken wings. The wings were fried just right with the crunch on the outside and the inside cooked all the way with the steam rising!! Their special sauce for the chicken added another amazing mix to the taste!!! The waffles didn't even need syrup on the side. The glaze itself SET.IT.OFF!!! Their house made punch is waaaaay better than southern sweet tea. That thang was thangin!!!! The service was pleasant, and even customers were talking back and forth to each other. The whole time, people were steadily coming in, and the phone was ringing off the hook to order. I live all the way in Green Cove. Imagine driving nearly an hour just for this place... Yeah, that would be me!!! Until next time, blessings!!!

Ordered chicken and fries, $10.00 Woah! I was a little hesitant at first, because it's only "5 wings and fries", nothing else. However, I wasn't wasting gas and driving to another establishment. I placed my order, only "one person" in line at the time. When I say, a 45 minute wait or longer for: 5 wings and fries, I mean it! There were only two people on the grill, mistake number one. Be upfront with customers on how long they will be waiting. I know they're reading all these reviews about the "horrendous wait time" for basic orders. Even the Door Dash workers were frustrated. Time is money! Management or the owner, needs to work on this issue, prompto.! If you know your establishment has "high traffic" prepare for more cooks or workers to handle the flow, accordingly. "Business 101." Secondly, my food and the cost, did not coincide... The chicken wings were not particularly flavorful and I was tired from pulling off all the fat. I got nauseous, literally. The fries were nothing to brag about either and portion size was particularly small for $10. You get no sides, whatsoever, not even a roll. I ordered the same thing for my acquaintance and they also complained about the fat on the wings. Basically nothing stood out, especially for $10.00. It was nearly $30.. for two orders of chicken wings/fries (all flats) and two House Special drinks. Not all is lost...this is a promising establishment but they need to tweak a few things, business wise., especially wait time. This was my personal experience. Can't speak for the next person.Parking: Limited parking in parking lot and stress, especially during high traffic.

It gives me small mom and pop shop. Nothing extravagant, just a nice neighborhood friendly eatery. There is a wait time but food is cooked freshed. So the wait I didn't and don't mind. I've tried breakfast and lunch here and both were cooked very well with lots of flavor. The serving sizes are nice and there a few tables for you to sit and eat but they are usually occupied by people waiting for their orders. However I recommend you to try for yourself.

Here's the problem. I ordered the food for delivery. While the gentleman was there to pick up the order they didn't have the order ready. That's fine. 2 hours later he finally gets my order. He tried talking to the store and asking them why it was taking so long they wouldn't work with him and kept saying 15 minutes. Even told him they wouldn't expedite the order in which I paid for. Not a great way to keep customers. The food is good but the service drove me away. Won't be back.

This place is awesome, a hidden gem. The food is amazing and, absolutely, worth the wait. This is a small, family owned place that can only put out so much food at a time. Please be kind, they’re working hard for you! In our group of four we tried the strawberry, cookies and cream, and fruit pebble waffles, eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, and corn beef hash. We each got the house punch, as well. Everything was SO delicious! We had such a good time and we will be back for more.
