Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

The food and service is fantastic, better chicken than chick Fil a by a country mile. HOWEVER, corporate really needs to spend some money and have it redone, the place looks run down, I feel bad for the employees they have to work in a low quality building when Popeyes is a franchise. Also the building itself is hard to find, hard to see, and hard to pull into, overall it's a great place to eat if you don't mind the building looking poor and trying to find the entrance to the place. The staff needs a raise and a better work environment. And this is coming from a customer...

I typically dont write bad reviews, but this location more than takes the cake for deserving it. This is the third strike for messing up a simple 3pc dark order. First time, instead of the ordered large mash and gravy, we got beans and rice. No biggie and forgivable. Second time the three pieces were all white. But this time, all pieces were white, there was no plastic ware, there was no BISCUIT and the soda was more than flat. Plus, the guy in drive thru, the same one each time, seemed to have no other care in the world besides what was going on on his phone. And the lack of attention to simple detail makes us not want to go back. Please do better. I've been in food for a decade and a half. These things are avoidable.

At this point you can’t even blame management for the way this is run; she’s just as bad if not worse than the staff. This is an owner/operator issue. The building is disgusting too. But for real, if I owned this place I would fire ALL of them close for a few days and reopen with a new and better trained staff. There is a clear accountability issue here. Shame…

This is by far the absolute most dysfunctional establishment in all of Jacksonville....must have waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches meanwhile 4-6 other people came in and out. Than the manager proceeded to get a attitude with me because I simply asked for my cash back or chicken all ready made. Let's start a go fund me and just bulldoze the entire building at this point.

Decided to stop by to order some take out for the Super Bowl game and although it had a little wait time they still got me quick and on the way to be able to catch the game before it start.

was ordering through the drive through and only got tenders but waited a unnecessary amount of time. I didn't get my food until I had to walk inside to check my order, and they didn't even have it prepared at all, and the tenders weren't even made well. The fries were the only good thing.

Placed a large order and the box of fries were cold, flimsy and no good. Could not even get them to answer the phone to get them rrplaced.

The customer service was not great by any means. But the part that actually matters, the food. My food was cold, I got no sauces, and one of the items I ordered was missing. Not a great experience.

The employees are the worst! They were cussing in front of the customers and loud. Arguing with each other. Very disrespectful! They need training in customer service! Horrible place

Popeyes is one of my favorite restaurants to go to for fried chicken and fortunately they were having a three piece special, which was my only reason for stopping by. Their chicken is so very expensive, so, I only go when they are running specials.

A nice kind hearted atmosphere very much enjoyed my experience Kenesha working multiple stations very hard worker

Went here to eat since we have nothing at home, It was not a busy day and I just got a chicken sandwich meal, My food was made pretty fast which I was happy about, I went home with it just to find out that it’s not warm at all, none of my food was made fresh and my meal was cold, why?

Only drive-thru was open. Had me pull up to wait for fries, waited 30 minutes and then told me that they gave all the fries to the mobile orders. Had to wait for more fries and asked if could be compensated with extra fries and the manager denied the request. Once we got home we realized they gave us the wrong sides. Never again.

Not sure how to leave a review on popeyes.com so I’m leaving it here. I had a great experience in the drive thru today thanks to Mayah Daniels. She took my order and was friendly and so helpful! Even sold me on 2 apple pies for dessert!
I know you mostly hear the bad stuff so I wanted to make sure someone knows that you have an awesome employee in Mayah! I’ll be back to the San Jose Blvd location (32257) again soon!
