There was a twenty-minute wait for the food, and when my child smiled at the staff, they actually rolled their eyes at a six-year-old. It’s disheartening—I really hope someone trains them to correct their lax attitude.

The only option for ordering was a kiosk, and only one of them worked. The employees either wouldn’t or couldn’t verbally take an order and were very rude. Took my business elsewhere.

This is one of the WORST popeyes you would think by being in the mall it would be better. They attitude is really nasty and think the be doing you a favor. Stop spending your money there.

First time here! You can place your order at the kiosk. I got the Luffy Bento Bundle for $14.99, and it was pretty good overall, but I was a little bummed about how small the chicken was.

I waited over 20 mins for a 16 piece and some rice. But I called ahead. This isn’t Mexico where you can get to it when you get to it!

I ordered a delivery order and said for special instructions make sure my chicken was fresh. When I got my order it was horrible, and the mash potatoes were watered the worst I've ever had at Popeyes never again, no disrespect but anyone that knows about chicken it's great when it's fresh. Be Bless

Cashier ignored me on purpose could have said sorry for my order but didn’t just ignored me horrible service got my refund and ate somewhere else.

They wouldn't even take my order. When I asked if I could order two separate people just looked at me and walked away. I don't think they even spoke English

Listen to the reviews and avoid this place. Wife got the family meal and the biscuits taste like oil, the chicken was dry, few of the thighs has literally no meat skin and batter. The taste was the worst part. Over priced and very un fulfilling. The mashed potatoes were okay and the coleslaw was probably the weirdest tasting combination of ingredients I've ever consumed. I'll stick to Publix from this point on.

This place is usual for Popeyes in this area. Bad service that takes forever. Won’t be back. They can’t get the simplest orders correct. Even when they’re not busy. Avoid. Plus apparently the manager can’t even understand English when we tried to call about the problems.

Edit: save your canned responses “owner” after looking through a lot of these other reviews the problem is obvious. You ignoring the problems isn’t “striving” to do anything. Hope they put a better chicken place there when you close.

This is the worst food I ever ate in my life and when I got home to eat it was greasy and taste weird and after I take 2 bite of the sandwich I felt sick and I throw up after the 2 bite from the sandwich and the fries and it will give you food poisoning DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION on The Avenues Mall, 10300 Southside Blvd #3040a, Jacksonville, FL 32256 10/09/2025 around 12 ish
