BEWARE- when you order soup and they sell out of it, they will claim to give you your money back but they won’t. We have called MULTIPLE times been spoke to RUDELY by some of the staff and never received a phone call back as promised. We have yet to receive our refund or even speak to the manager/owner cause they clearly don’t care about customer service. “She on the phone again” - employee thinking the phone was on mute. “Uh..ok. Buhhh-byeee” - employee when told I’m very frustrated at the lack of response from management These are not things you say to a customer.

Beware- you’ll be charged for things and not be refunded when they don’t give them to you. Sierra, the front of house manager has been notified MULTIPLE times by my wife and I to please initiate a refund for a soup that was purchased and not provided. The owner, GM, and many people answering the phone have disregarded our requests and still- 9 days later have not received a refund.

There was not much parking to choose from in front of the establishment, but we were lucky on a Sunday to find a spot next door. Walked in, seated within 10 mins. Atmosphere was pleasantly relaxing, filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the scent of breakfast. ? waitress was kind in helping navigate and explain the items available on the menu. Not overly busy the Sunday we visited. Visually stunning. Prices were mid ranged and affordable. Everything we ordered was served in a timely fashion and was delicious. We wanted to visit the Chocolate ? shop next door but it was not open for business.

This place was so amazing. The best buttermilk chicken I’ve ever had. The food quality was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and all the items we ordered were some of the best food I’ve had. The employees were so friendly and attentive. We will be back! Plus, it’s beautiful.

Ordered and Caramel Frappe with Almond Milk. Cashier was extremely polite and pleasure to talk to. They warned me that the caramel had dairy in it before putting it my drink which I appreciated as it seemed they were very knowledgeable about their craft and cared about the customer experience. Had my drink in less than 3 minutes.Vegetarian options: Non-animal products such as almond and oat milk available. Staff let me know there was dairy in the caramel before adding it to my order which I appreciated.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors and plenty of low tables to eat or drink from.

This is a great location. Their morning options are limited but it has what you need but if you get here before 11 it's a little loud to have a meeting but they are open if you enter through the side door.

A lot of mixed feelings ! The place is much more spacious and nicer than the Five Points (closed) and the St Johns Town center (closed) locations. Just a quick summary from personal experience: Five points vibes were "laid back" (I used to study here) and town center vibes were "quick bite."Downtown Bay Street is so... not either one. Parking is of course horrendous but that's anywhere downtown. After being used to ordering at the counter and finding my own seat I was little surprised about Bread and Board Provisions being a tad more "upscale" from the fast casual I was used toFirst, if you want to dine in.. they have to seat you and bring the menu to your tableThey have a specialty cocktails..Along with a full coffee bar adjacent to the restaurant itself.Other fun facts: lots of food merchandise to peruse through from local vendors, to include:FlowersLocal food itemsOverall a wonderful restaurant and I'm happy about this location. Although if you were a regular like I was, pay attention to your menu choices because you may be surprised to know that your sandwich price doesn't automatically include the salad /chips anymore. I was a bit disappointed with my Shawarma chicken sandwich. Too much veggies for a tiny bit of chicken. Not fulfilling. The taste was okay and I shouldn't fault the restaurant for portion size either because inflation is very real. Kids meals are still free with an adult purchase (always a plus!) which is why I'm not too upset. Kids portions are very generous. I'd have to come back with another review when I've got a lunch date or something. Four stars is a low rating for Bread and Board; they have been an all time favorite of mine since Five Points. My initial experience at this location had an intended goal..which was to get a fantastic sandwich and some work done in a corner seat somewhere with my laptop ...but I find that this ambiance no longer suits that need.

It's a great concept. The service was incredibly friendly and the staff was happy to answer the questions I had. I ate here twice over the course of a weeklong stay in downtown Jacksonville. Both the burger and the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich were excellent - freshly prepared and carefully packed for me to take back to my hotel. Jacksonville is fortunate to have this in the midst of their downtown, and could well do with a few more places like this. When I'm back in town, I know I'll be returning.

Great little little shop on Bay Street. They offer coffee, tea breakfast items as well as flowers and floral arrangements. Additionally, they carry a wide array of other dry provisions. Stop in and check out this very friendly local shop.
