My wife and I are Houston, TX area transplants to greater Jacksonville and have been searching for good Mexican food since we arrived for a while now. This place is without a doubt the best Mexican food we've found in Jacksonville! It is not TexMex nor is it trying to be. It reminds me of food found when visiting Mexico proper. The margaritas a good and the food has fresh ingredients and feels made to order and not microwaved or bland like some of the other locations offering...
the best shrimp fajitas!!!!! I love the fresh tortillas and all the fixings. I was raving about the first time I went and my fiance was dying to try it. he is a picky Mexican food eater and he loved his enchiladas. thank you!
Dishes are very well presented. I had the snapper filet with rice and beans and I also tried the tilapia with seafood sauce. Everything was delicious specially the scallops on the tilapia. We had a great time with the life music that is there every Saturday, we danced salsa, merengue bachata. Great place, very good service. We will be back.
