YOU WAS DOING TO MUCH- OWNER VERY DISRESPECTFUL. FIRST TIME VISITOR AND MY EXPERIENCE WAS NOT GOOD. HE TOLD ME TO LEAVE. HE WAS SHORT AND ANGRY. TALKING TO ME LIKE HE WAS TALKING TO HIS EMPLOYEE ROUGH!!!
I WAS SPEAKING WITH THE EMPLOYEE, AND HE JUMPED IN WITH AGGRESSION, TELLING ME I CAN TALK TO HIM, WITH A ATTITUDE, MY RESPONSE WAS YOU ARE DOING TO MUCH. I TRIED TO MOVE ON AND ASKED ABOUT A PIE, BUT HE WAS ALREADY RUDE. HE TOLD ME TO LEAVE AND I LEFT GLADLY.
SORRY FOR OFFENDING, BUT IT SEEMS YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF YES PEOPLE AROUND YOU.

Wasted my time during lunch break to drive here just for them to be closed on a Sunday which contradicts hours on google, after being allowed to place online order.
It's a counter service take out restaurant. I ordered jerk chicken, rice & peas, and cabbage. This was the best jerk chicken I have had in Jacksonville. Since it was my first time in the owner gave me a sample of his stew chicken. It was great too. I look forward to going back to try more of the menu.

I had the oxtails, rice & peas w/ cabbage. And ALL OF IT WAS BLAND. The oxtails were tough and the gravy was thin like water. Everything was in one container with so the juice from the cabbage the rice wet. Overall it was money wasted.

Every time I go to the resturant, it’s closed. It can be 1:45pm on a Friday (today) and they closed. This is the third time in as many weeks they are closed when their hours say open.
Don’t waste your time.
Had the oxtails with rice n cabbage. So delicious. Service was fast and so sweet! Will definitely eat there again!

The owner is very nice and personable. He cares for the community and people.
He is doing it by himself on a Sunday and my order was ready to go faster than the whole crew two doors down. I had brown Stew Chicken and he gave me a sampler bowl so I could taste the curry goat, oxtail and curry chicken. The food was delicious authentic Jamaican cuisine, spicy but not overwhelming at all. He definitely does NOT use MSG, because I didn't cough not one time. The portions were good for the price. I did add a little natural salt to my food but the flavors were on point.

The food is very good but the owner can’t keep employees and has to work by himself and closes during business hours frequently.
